That's a nice team

How about Pedlar to Drury
Then chandler to Stewart
Via ddp and Utility spot

That way no on field rooks (not counting sheez and ashcroft as rooks)

Leaves $5k in the bank but very nice! Hadn't considered that. Gives Chayce one last run at it, and can loop him with Cincotta if need be.

Jones BE of 64 is the only concern, but getting an extra rookie off field appeals.

This might be the best trade I can do this week.

My Ross trade was a monumental error and I need to correct it before it becomes unfixable. Someone mentioned Parker here and he might be the go, scoring nicely and gets all the CBAs. Pedlar has peaked cash gen wise and I needed the cash.

Also I said I’d never bring him in but I can’t reach to anyone worthwhile with just a straight trade of Wilmot so I’m jumping on the Ratkins train. Hopefully he gets another 90 odd against the Eagles this week.

Means I have to hold Wilmot and Greene on my bench but if there’s a rookie/s this week, I’ll downgrade them to said rookie next week and then it should give me at least 200k+ to upgrade a Chandler/Ashcroft/Callaghan type.

These trades also take me down to only one rookie left on field in Cincotta

Is Powell legit? Has a 51 and 49 this year as well as the tons. Doesn’t feel right
Coming back from a big injury lay-off. Working into the season. I’m dubious it’s real but would explain his lower scores to start. Also feels like GC have changed game style a little. Sharing it way more back there now than early on in the season

At the moment, thinking Mills is a target with the higher CBAs on the weekend. Always a risk for Horse shuffling him around but he's dirt cheap.

Setters - Mills
Wagner - Drury

I only need two weeks at 70 to 80 from Powell. It just lets me get two maxed rookies/MP’s off the field in successive weeks.

Then I can potentially get a bit fancy or pretend I have done some bye planning !!

Trade in Newman last week. Happy. 15 half-time. Sad. Finishes on 76. Happy. Learn he’s suspended. F*
Trades: (1) Bailey Dale -> Rory Atkins (2) Lachie Cowan -> Dylan Williams via DPP (+196k to upgrade Hollands next week)

If you hold Jones I personally wouldn't Captain him no matter how many points Saints leak :D
No, but I would I think, the way I'm going.....:drunk:

Holding LDU over Anderson this season has been a painful experience. Time to go, fella.

LDU - Gawn
Topped out rookie - Drury (likely Wilmot)
Question

When it comes to Drury:

What are the pros/cons for getting rid of either
1. Wilmont
2. JVR
3. Greene
4. Cowan

Guys, What's the go on

1. Tippa
2. Bailey Humphrey
3. D Williams

I got Atkins but I'm really having a hard time seeing Drury being a viable cash gen. I'm already burnt by a bunch of 250k spuds that play couple get dropped

It's a fair point on Drury but there's almost no alternative unless a viable 200k pops up this week we can take a chance on.

I’ve had Humphrey since he debuted. It’s been a roller coaster, but it looks like Dew wants to sink games into him so he could be a good pick for you

Depends on your full team, but I had those four rookies and so far have done the following:

F Greene - traded out last week as Lewis looks to have impacted his scoring.

Wilmot - cash gen done. Will likely be traded this week

JVR - worth holding until cash gen dries up. Might be a useful loophole option while missing the next two (Assuming he doesn't get off)

Cowan - low priority trade as he doesn't have much cash on his head.

When it comes to Drury:

What are the pros/cons for getting rid of either
1. Wilmont - Pro, decent amount of cash on his head, Con is a best 22 player with good job security
2. JVR - Pro, decent amount of cash on his head likely suspended for two weeks, Con not a crazy cash grab and would get a better upgrade if trading a Ginbey or Pedlar can also be used for a loophole over next two weeks and could come back in afterwards
3. Greene - Pro, cash generation will plummet with the six in his rolling, Con appears to be a best 22 player with decent job security
4. Cowan - Pro, red dot so moving him on would re-generate cash gen, Con barely any cash on his head.

I think Greene is the preferred trade.

We could have a few Port $200kers come our way this week, especially seeing that all of their ruckmen are rubbish and Jonas is suspended and rubbish. Maybe a Pasini and Visentini debut?

Apologies Brayshaw owners, getting on the bandwagon this week.

70 (Ryan tag) score incoming!!

I've added Williams in place of Greene. Small downgrade but lots more cash gen to come.
Its slim picking out there...

Small upgrade! $6k more expensive.

Am I missing a trick here? Feel like I'm starting to bleed rookie cash, but Chayce > Stewart and Chandler > Drury feels most logical. Is there something else I should be doing/considering? $41k in the bank. Chandler to Drury and then I can swap Drury and Gulden, and chuck Cincotta on field in midfield.

Where's your rank? Advice doesn't consider bye structure & presumes Marshall is good to go. But you're in a really nice position, your bench has plenty of cash to draw from to turn those field mid pricers (of which there is a lot, to be fair) into jets. That bench is an asset so I agree, stemming the bleed of rookie cash preserves it.

In terms of who to upgrade, Callaghan, Ashcroft, Worpel are all priced within 3-4 of their season average but have breakevens 10-15 below it. Chandler priced 8 below, but has a breakeven closer to it. Jones too, but take out the sub game and he's priced 10 beneath his average, not 3, and has a matchup on a ground he's played well against an opposition who leak outside points.

So it's probably a case of picking your poison in terms of which ones of those have matchups you like, you think will perform well from this point on, and gets you where you want to go.

I think you're a little heavy on fwd rooks with 3x pure fwd and 1x mid fwd. So I'd probably go Greene to Drury (+140k) and put that 181k on Ashcroft's head to get to Mills & 17k. Can then use Wagner to loop Atkins & one of Cincotta/Jones for D6 and field the other if you wanted.

If Stewart is your man, you could get to him by going Chandler -> Drury (+290k) into Michalanney -> Stewart (+329k), instead of Jones. Or Pedlar and shuffle emg positions around. I'd almost thing that's a better option than cashing in Jones - probably has more cash to grow than MM or Pedlar now, and gives you an extra on field option/less cash burning dust.
