Collingwood midfielder Jordan De Goey will miss the first weeks of pre-season training as he recovers from minor surgery on his right shoulder.

De Goey was sent for scans in September after hurting his shoulder in the second quarter of the qualifying final against Geelong.

The 22-year-old left the track early after hurting his left shoulder in a marking contest, with scans today confirming the severity of the injury.

King will see a surgeon today to confirm the expected outcome of an operation to reconstruct the shoulder in the coming days.

Tarryn Thomas's Mrs drove over his foot in a car. He trained the next day so all seems to be fine.
They were out bush and she got scared and panicked.

I have Doch but how does Walsh missing make a Doch a lock now and not before?

His two scores were 138 & 144 when Walsh wasn't playing last season.

Played midfield when Walsh went down/struggled with injury at the end of the year. Also with Hewett out it opened up a slot for him. Doch looked awesome in the role so reckon he has 5 points of upside at his price

And Cerra and Kennedy were missing.

And as you say Hollands might get a wing spot now so that's another mid in his way.

Doc's a perfectly valid pick playing half back imo.

no ones mentioned cripps scoring impact by walsh out??
Good pick up with the Walsh thing for Crippa. But think it’s common fodder to avoid Brownlow medal winners the following year these days. There’s normally a lull to a certain degree especially in their scoring in supercoach. Whether teams pay more attention or they just don’t have the same mojo idk but it’s an actual thing haha
