Cape Otway gets one about every 25/30 years.
Quite normal event, used to feel and sound like a bowling ball making its way down the alley.
The lighthouse never moved but the mercury bowl used to spill into the staircase and be a bugger of a job cleaning it up.

Occurred in Colac, that's where the epicenter was. After shock in AB later on.


Apparently it caused 1 million dollars worth of improvements in the Colac area.
