See ya later, Notre Dame

GTFO of the Top 25
They wont drop from 10 to unranked. but next week if they lose to USC they will drop out and wont make it back.

I had to laugh at the excuses the commentators were making for Notre Dame... saying they looked physically tired from playing such a "loaded" schedule (Ohio State... Duke... Louisville...:D)

I'd love to see them face Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, LSU and Alabama in successive weeks.

The AP rankings are a farce. They're just a marketing tool for the TV networks to pump up the ratings.

Every year, they overrate the same old "storied" colleges from the Midwest. You'd think they would learn from their previous year's mistakes... But no... A new year rolls around and it's rinse and repeat.

Rankings before November are always a popularity contest.

That was the most complete we have looked so far this season. Kentucky were never in it right from the opening drive. Other than a poor interception by Beck, it was as close to a perfect performance from him we will see.

Arizona could've should've won it with a 2 point conversion in the 1st overtime

But their pussy coach took the conservative frightened option and kicked the point after
From that moment, USC was destined to win.

If you're too scared to win, the football gods will take it way from you.
Felt that the Commanders should have done the same against the Eagles. I don't get why teams, especially underdogs are just happy to extend the game rather than go for it. Class usually wins out if you give them enough chances

We're they chasing some empty stat like trying to get an RB 100 yards? Insanity. I'd be furious losing like that
Nope. Just dumb. And has form with it.

Thought Texas were really uninspiring for most of the game. Missed the last quarter after IQ stopped recording right after they had 4 attempts to run it in. Question though - in the third Ewers was sacked twice and both times the defensive player stood over him and yelled down at him. Isn’t that taunting/unsportsmanlike?

Coaches are happy to repeatedly go for it on 4th down during a game, but they freeze up when it's a 4th down for the whole enchilada. It makes me laugh. Especially with the NFL overtime being such a raffle. Often decided by a coin flip. Go for the win, FFS!! Who cares what all the media critics & armchair QBs say later on if you fail?

It's almost inevitable with NCAAF OT rules they'll be forced at some point into going for a game-deciding 2 point conversion anyway. So they're just delaying the inevitable. Why not go for the win when you have the chance? What are they f**king waiting for?

Caleb Williams look like a threat to score every time he was flushed out of the pocket. Or get 1st down at the very least. Nobody on the Arizona defence looked capable of getting near him. So why the hell would their coaches think that forcing overtime was a 50/50 proposition?

It was pure muppetry from the Arizona coach to pussy out like he did and kick the point after. The USC coaches would've breathed a massive sigh of relief when he sent the kicking team out.

It is totally inexcusable for coaches/teams not to have a well-rehearsed (unseen, unused) game-winning 2 point play in their back pocket. Why wouldn't you devote the last 10-15 minutes of every practise session perfecting your goal line plays and go into a game confident of nailing those chances?
