Call me naive or overly optimistic, I see no reason why we can't beat Freo and Port in the next fortnight.

We seem to be a streaky team under Vossy, and we could actually go on a good run on from here.

Just hope Weiters doesn't get suspended.

But our season is well and truly alive folks.

Big Nigel to the rescue

If we win the next two - it’ll blow our season wide open.

We seem to be a confidence side - when it rains it pours, both sides.

Vision was rubbish but Lewis gets up holding his chest if that means anything

I literally would sell my soul if this lad was able to remain injury free for the rest of his career

Clearly the boys love him and rate him highly (understandably so)

Remember 3 weeks ago when people said hawks had gone ahead of us?

Was that after Hawthorn beat Brisbane? 3 weeks ago, they were a better side than us. Things can change.

NavySteel I’ll answer your question from the match day thread here. I think it’s applied pressure from 360 degrees. At points in the third quarter you could see it come to fruition with one of our boys possessing the ball surrounded by p**s and poo.

Interesting…

another one of hidden algorithms of the AFL. Or if it’s like free agency compo “this looks about right”…

Great result. Happy with the win. But team selection continues to puzzle.

Ed Curnow had another non-performance. I don't understand why he his playing.

George "Backwards Handball Specialist" Hewett predictable impact as sub with 6 handballs and NEGATIVE 27 METRES GAINED. :$

Everyone else

Ed = HFF replacement for Cotters. Expect to see Cotters back vs Freo.

Great win by the club. Beat Fremantle or at least really give our all next week and I may believe we are back to our best or close to.

That's the best game Cripps has played for a long long time and we look light years better with him at his best (not surprisingly so).

Cunningham we just need to pray he can stay on the park. He's the X factor we need.

I think Hawks were 20-4 hit outs at one stage. Down 7 goals to nil. Can we finally all agree rucks are overrated in thre actual art of rucking, you are better off with a player that can mark and link up around the ground.
Definately do not agree. Good rucks are the key to premierships.

We broke evenish with a young, and not overly good duo today. Well done Jack and Lewy.

Will get murdered by the Freo pair if TDK or Pitto don't get up. (even then we will loose the ruck contest, but not as badly.)

Just hope Weiters doesn't get suspended.

Careless or intentional? That's the difference between a fine and a 1 week suspension.

I think he intentionally hit the body, then carelessly hit the head. I think he gets a fine.

If he gets a week I know where Weiters will be on Tuesday night.

You could count on one hand (maybe two) how many games Cuners, JSOS, Harry, Weiters and Charles have played together. But all five of them were fantastic today.

I like Motts and Durds, but their lack of tackle pressure has been an issue. (Mots was working hard on it against the NB yesterday). Fog can lay a tackle and while he can’t kick over a jam jar, he knows where to position himself. Him and and DC have been a revelation up forward. Add some Martin X-Factor and suddenly we have a “connected” forward line.

May it continue!

Was about as vibrant as a wet noodle.

Mamma Mia!
I can barely listen to the woops & yelps anyway. Possibly something to do with people unable to deal with pauses.
"We are the Navy Blues" pause
not
"We are the Navy Blues" woop

It’s a millennial thing… can’t enjoy the pauses, must have sound and bells and whistles all the time!!
