Eeewww!
Thank goodness for daylight savings. Means I can get the kids into bed in time for the start of the game
They are 6 and 10 and despite my attempts, their interest in the sport is still fairly low. Thus all they would do is ruin it for meSo the kids are not allowed to watch the game? What kind of parent are you
I had chicken peri peri. Quite similar. Yoghurt.Just had the most amazing chicken biryani ...and now I can't feel my tongue. So please win Swans I've had enough pain for the day.
I couldn't reply on the other thread Masey, it's been closed.
In no way would the selection of McDonald over Reid have made a difference to the loss. But he would have been able to work harder than Reid's body allowed him to. I'm talking more about the messages it sends to the young players about a coach preferring & trusting an injured player over the fit young player's ability.
More a dig at selection I guess.
Didn't like it when Marsh was left out for an 18 year old Mills who hadn't played for 5 weeks with a Hammy in 2016 & didn't like it last year.

Not that I've any experience in the matter, but I've heard it said that in any given GF both teams are often playing at least a few and sometimes more than a few players who for any regular season game would be classified as injured. It's funny, playing injured players in grand finals only ever seems to come up when the team loses.
When the "master of all coaches" played Cyril Rioli in the 2014 GF despite missing 10 games and having no match fitness under his belt, was it a mistake? Possibly. But we'll never know, because everyone else showed up how they were supposed to, and rendered Rioli's non-impact that day - 9 disposals, scoreless - completely irrelevant to the history books.
Clarkson might've had grand final success before (as Horse did), but he made the cardinal sin that loses teams grand finals. Ban him from GF match selection committees!
That wouldn't surprise me in the least. Even in the regular season, you hear coaches say "(insert name) has been playing with a (insert injury) the last few weeks."Not that I've any experience in the matter, but I've heard it said that in any given GF both teams are often playing at least a few and sometimes more than a few players who for any regular season game would be classified as injured.
