Man this brennan cox guy came out of nowhere scored big in praccy and 1st game. If u had to pick cox or green who would u go. Cox is cheaper but green seems the more reliable.

Getting rid of kelly i think is a priority as 1 week could be 2 especially since its likely they will go 2-0 up so they might rest for another week.
Can't seem them resting Kelly this early in the season.. if it all. These guys have incentives in contracts to finish certain places in BnFs etc. Plus they are playing Carlton in Rd3. Not a game you want to be resting a key player for.

I dunno about Cox. He’s obviously not gonna score that high regularity and it could be a one off. The ball spent a LOT of time down there keep in mind.

I would go Ryan if you had to get a Freo defender in. He’s shown in the past he can get consistent tidy scores in between these big spike ones.

Was an ugly hit man. ROB head went straight into kellys jaw. He knocked him the **** out. Could be 2 due to the force.

Has always been a decent player, and was in discussions for AA a couple of years back. Seems to be scoring regardless of whether ball is down there or not, but there's a lot of ball to go around between Ryan, Clark, Chapman and Young - so I wouldn't want to pull the trigger until I've seen one more game where he scores when all the others don't (like the practice match).

EDIT: Jordan Clark still scored, but massive flag for me, is that Luke Ryan wasn't playing that game. Be very interesting to see if it's just random, or if there is some sort of role there. I still think it's more the former, but we'll get a good idea this week against a team that won't get the ball down there much.

The player that really came out of nowhere was McGovern.
My dad picked it and gave me the heads up but i didnt follow through.
Apparently McGovern has had a super preseason. Is fit and trim. He's the mature bloke down back that directs the team - similar to SicDog. WCE are a young team and i reckon McGovern could be the POD to jump on early (just dont know if his body lasts the season)

even with Jelly and Xerri to deal with? I don't know how every single year I have to start one complete random spud

btw how annoying is it to have to trade those two when they were good picks. GWS great early fixture and Kelly finally getting a pure midfield role, tracking for 110. And then Xerri solo ruck, doing really well and tracking for a 90+ score
Have to deal with those two first then look to move Hunt on next week

Almost everyone has at least one player they need to move on so you're not alone there. No such thing as nailing every single pick

Brennan Cox did not come out of nowhere. He's 24 and has been on an AFL list for six years. He's a KPD who had an abnormally high amount of marks on the weekend due to a sluggish Fremantle that had no answers to St Kilda's defence other than to chip it sideways and backwards. Tom Green is the answer.

Definitely a risk to keep Kelly. Didn't English miss 4-5 games last year after a concussion?

Not sure the reward outweighs the risk

Did consider Gov when the Yeo news came out but his injury history made me stay away

Anyone willing to suggest some trades to me if I send through my team unchanged after Round 1? Would appreciate some advice greatly

Got a bit of a shock this morning when I opened up and still saw Hunt D3....thought it was all a bad dream but no, he's really in there

Can someone tell me that Hunt is worth persisting with another week to see how he goes at Optus? Because last week it was like he was running away from the ball
Give him 1 more week. I have Cole and I was watching the first qtr regretting that choice because Hunt looked so much better.

He'd be given feedback from the coaches to work on and I reckon he'll be better for it. Eagles need him to rebound quickly if they're going to win games

I’m surprised Hunt didn’t dive in price. I’m giving one more week to him to see how he goes on Optus Stadium, same with Duggan, but Duggan has a good scoring record at Optus
