Changing the bench rooks and Samson and T Young are the only 200k players playing and it puts me at exactly $0

No need to fire on Samson Ryan yet. Give him a week, Long's BE is lower. Saves you if Samson is a dud or straight back out the side.

I got burnt a few times last year bringing guys in for their first match of the year when they aren't proven scores (-2!)

Much prefer the second trade for that reason.

Powell to Callaghan is an interesting move. I think it will pay off as Callaghan used the ball well last week but was overlooked a fair bit whereas he should be more involved this week without Kelly around. Interestingly, Phillips will likely be the sub again but he seemed to be preferred in the middle over Powell when he came on the ground. Bit of risk in that Powell may pop but I'd put my money on Callaghan.

Yeah I feel Powell could have a big game but he was barely in the CBA's

Fwiw I really liked Ryan in the pre season match, altho he only played the last qrtr and was fresh

I really liked Chandler in his game too and he turned out pretty good


I'm giving Ryan a week tho, not the worst pick as second ruck

Bytel / Xerri > Ladhams / Chandler, take Flanders score over hollands E

Despite Hollands good emg score, I am trading Kelly for 2 reasons.

1. He leaves concussion protocols 1 or 2 days before the following round, so no guarantee it's just one game, let alone what his form will be returning.
2. In order to loop Hollands EMG, I did a DPP swap meaning I have an extra rookie down forward this week, which was going to be Chandler. So even if I were to hold Kelly, I'd still have one extra rookie on field than I really want.

So the trades are pretty boring but
J.Kelly to T.Green
F.Greene to Chandler

Flanders and Braeden Campbell get another week.
