Let’s face it kids..if you haven’t got right now a foundation of Oliver, Doch, Sic, Naicos, Day, English and soon as possible Stewart…you’re doomed.

No Landcruiser for you.

While I think you're over-egging it a bit, you're also not far wrong. My wife's sister basically had an auto-fill team made 5 minutes before Richmond v Carlton which meant she started with Doc, Naicos, Oliver, Day (think I tipped her on this one), Dunks, Taranto and she's absolutely flying. Think she's up around 4k, while I'm treading water at 15k with a team I spent weeks picking out.

So question for the crowd. If we're still a few weeks from culling rookies, and we're not trading premiums like Bont, where are we getting cash from? Are we going one up one down with mid-pricers which means ending up with another rookie on field?

Yep, one up one down from any mid-pricers whose cash gen has plateaued, so they are just stagnating in your team (Sheed, Worpel, McGrath etc).

Field an extra rookie and the points drop off should only be 10-20 points (e.g. Chandler on field over Sheed is like a 5-10 point drop) whereas you make 30-40 points on field on the other trade and nab yourself a keeper.

Stewart's 10 points cheaper than he was to start the season and I thought he was value then. Just a shame it's cost me two trades.
My options are to either trade:
Constable to Stewart, which means playing Callaghan and Stewart
OR
Callaghan to Tom Green, which means playing Willmot and Green

Willmot and Green have a higher projected score of 144 vs Callaghan/Stewart 128 and both Green and Stewart seem like good value right now.

Matt Johnson looked really decent in his limited time on ground, wouldn’t be shocked if he actually gets a full game this week. Freo have some deadwood to drop despite the win

Think I'll hold Worpel one more week but fair enough point. I think McGrath to Stewart might be a good avenue to a somewhat unique pick.

McGrath doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing deep in the backline tagging blokes like Higgins.

It’s a new role he’s failing to adjust to.

Hind will take his place soon and Andy will be back on the bench rotating through the midfield ..chip kicking and producing general useless disposal numbers not fit for any serious fantasy team.

Good thing is Brissy play first this week, so can run Wilmot with the E and use Uwland as a loop if he goes 65+.

$320k in the bank..

Can get;
Callaghan > JVR
Uwland > Stewart

You can loop Wilmot Friday night...although holding that much cash on Constable another week isn't advisible.

Also wouldn't pay too much heed to the projected scores, they can be quite misleading - especially early in the season.

Mid pricer fire sale!

Worpel and Constable MUST GO! Only this weekend to sell the lot!

Yeo and Bytel, or Stewart and JvR on the cards.
Buy Stewart this week at bargain prices never before seen!

Or downgrade, save cash $$$ and lower your expectations significantly and purchase an Elliot Yeo* 2.0 on special ..today only!

No refunds*

Not trading Constable means I'll most likely have to play Willmot because the other backups are McVee and Chesser lol. Willmot has been playing decently though

Get Yeo and we will throw in a Chesser 20 for $5. These prices cannot last!

McGrath > Stewart
Sheed > Jelly

McGrath not cutting it Sheed just crabbing
Replacements near top 22 if not injured

Jesus people have so much cash lol.

McGrath>Day
Constable>Hunt

Not the hottest trades but saw Hunt more behind the ball when they got injuries and has two 80s in his system
McGrath just a nothing pick and Day looks like a keeper if the CBAs hold, which I reckon they do. Was an accumulator in juniors.

Probably skip JVR, don't really have anyone to move on. Worpel a worry but hoping for a bounce back, 2/3 good games gives me a bit of faith. Next week look at Macrae to Laird and probably grab a rookie somewhere. Rank sucks but was in the same spot last year and finished 305th.
