A biggun or two and hes heading back to 600k.

Paying a premium isn't the issue, but more so the rookies needed to cull/bring in to make these moves happen. Plus if he goes up in price, then other options become available.

Steele and Mills are both ridiculously cheap, with high, but obtainable breakevens.

There is cheaper options with lower breakevens like Hewett and Warner, but it's not every gameweek you get rolled gold premo mids available in the low 500s.
Yeah, I can't go near Steele.
Started him over Petracca believing that he was over the shoulder / collarbone stuff.
He's rushed back, can't have healed fully.
Great price, but just can't do it 😥

Money's changed you, Rocker 😥

Nah I'm still the same .

Truth I really wanted a pig but the city council wouldn't let me....Kent's
Piggy Oliver the next best thing.

I would get two pigs so they have a mate each.
Oliver and Rory would be their names...🐽🐽😀

mills got 47% cba's against gws

swans preferred midfield mix seems to be parker + chad and then 3-4 guys fighting over the scraps to be the third mid in there, with rowbottom getting the majority currently

dont think mills is too sc relevant without def dpp this year barring a role change imo. too much time spent in defence and on the wing currently
You're right, mate, I looked at the wrong number 🤦‍♀️

Callum Mills CBA's fell off from round 10 last year. R1-9 he was avg 68% CBA (pretty much his avg for 2021), after that he avg 50%. In all games for 2022 when he had over 50% CBA's, he avg 122.7. In games he had 50% CBA's or less, which was 8 games total he avg 105. This season he's at 33% CBA's with just one game over 50%. And he's avg 97.4. The scoring is all pretty commensurate with role. Sure he could bounce back, but his scoring is clearly heavily influenced by his CBA's as opposed to simply his form, which he doesn't have control of. You'd basically be banking on either horse changing his role, or him becoming DPP, where a 100-105 type avg is acceptable, because he's not likely to avg midfield premo level scoring in his current role, regardless of form.

Looks like Greene, Ginbey and perhaps Baker need to go.

Cincotta in but unsure who else.

Will wait on teams before going nuts.

Only have one boost left so might just do a double downgrade this week and cash up ready to attack a few targets.

Luke Ryan not getting much love? Do you think he will continue to out score Sicily and Sinclair? He looks like he's got a higher floor & higher ceiling the way freo play. Ranked overall 6 for ave points atm and the cheapest option of the top 10 players by some margin.

The first ranked player now has Samson Ryan at R2. Bold strategy
As well as Ginbey and Baker at M7/8, Liam Baker down back, and Greene at F6. He's gonna drop back to the pack very soon – already started

Have gone:
Out
Setterfield
Phillipou
Cowan

IN
Danger
Angwin (For Now)
Simpson

Next week will be looking at getting Stocker to Dawson with my last boost and then probably sit tight until Darcy Cameron returns. Thoughts?

Ranked 852 and climbing, though my bench is obviously going to be an issue soon.

At the moment, I've done Cowan -> Cincotta, Greene -> Simpson, Setterfield -> Petracca (52k left over).

Decisions to make this week:
  • Petracca vs Laird vs Cripps vs Parish vs Merrett vs Walsh vs Stewart
  • Worth using a boost for Simpson or Angwin? Can make the other two trades without boosting, but I'm worried about cash gen.
  • If boosting, is it worth clearing out some dead trash like Cowan/Roberts, or cashing in McVee to leave some bank left over for next week in the event that there's no new rooks? That sort of bank could easily turn Hopper into a premo mid with one trade next week.

@ any north fans is it Drury time? I've banked him as an in already and would really help my ideas this week
Currently:
Wilmot to Drury (via Constable)
Stocker to Stewart
Greene to Simpson
