Is Twomey a genuine genius or does he just have a lot of mates at clubs?

I think he has a lot of connections. His phantom draft is different to his draft rankings too. His draft rankings are about how he ranks the players, but phantom draft is who he thinks will take who, and for that last one he needs those connections.

I personally think it is a bad strategy as cutting older players to the bone and entirely focusing on youth never works. The first thing Paul Roos did when he took charge of Melbourne was bring in older player to help the younger ones as he realised Melbourne cut too many older/experienced players and it was hurting their younger players development.

Bizarre choice when they got Hill, NWM and Sinclair at half back as it is.

Bonner must have really pissed them off.

They can smooth out the cost of picks etc but I love the father/son rule

In theory yes, but what we have seen lately is good teams getting guns for cheap. Point of the draft is to even out the competition
