Bailey Humphrey?????
Bailey Humphrey?????
Maybe in the coming years. Not this year. He will play predominantly forward. I wouldn't be going there.Dimmas new favorite. Getting Dustys role of going wherever he likes.....apparently
The young Sun that Hardwick likens to Dusty, Toby and De Goey
Damien Hardwick believes he has a player on his list who can emulate some of the great match-winners in the gamewww.afl.com.au

You need to put Grundy in your team.I don't have Grundy in my team. I should have Grundy in my team. I'm just so stubborn in the way I set up my team, I can't bring myself to change it, even if it's obvious. Why I always struggle in this game. Shame we aren't locked out, then it'd be too late to worry about it.
Still sold on Humphrey?Dimmas new favorite. Getting Dustys role of going wherever he likes.....apparently

I certainly wouldn't start with Gulden and I'm not swayed by Heeney's performance as I feel once Adams and Parker come back he will not have the role he had in round 0.How much weight are people putting on Round 0 score. Fantasy you can obviously play the breakeven game with immediate price changes, obviously not as influential in RDT.
For me, I’ve cooled dramatically on Gulden, enough for me to drop him out of my side. I was thinking he could potentially go 115+ and still justify starting him even with his early bye. Not as confident now, and think having Bont / Rozee available for all the first 6 rounds is more appealing.
Grundy locked himself in my side now, at a stage I was looking at Gawn / Xerri, now it’s out of those two who gets the other Ruck spot.
Interested raised dramatically in Whitfield and Heeney, but been burnt a few times by both players in the past. Found myself really warming to the idea of Whitfield, Heeney a little harder sell as I’ll likely have Grundy and Jordan but still not out of the equation to start with.
Good seeing Jordan, Williams and Sexton and just confirming their roles and scoring potentials. I’m increasingly tempted by Budarick, but not sure if I’ll start him or not.
Was good having a look at some rookies. Howes wasn’t really locked in previously, he is now. I was very keen on Robert’s previously, think everyone will be now.
All in all, it has swayed my thinking, maybe looking at 3-4 changes which I don’t think is too reactionary as their mainly sideways trades.
I am leaning away from Heeney in this format, my only line of thinking to starting him is we have 40 trades and a hot start is an easy sideways trade to another premium if required.I certainly wouldn't start with Gulden and I'm not swayed by Heeney's performance as I feel once Adams and Parker come back he will not have the role he had in round 0.
Can't afford to have too many in your starting lineup that have the same bye. I've currently got Grundy, Roberts and Jordon all in my side but no Collingwood players. At least the three of them are all in different positions. I think three is the maximum.
BTY - If anyone knows who runs DTLive, can you find out why we can no longer access round 1 scores.
The problem with starting with that mindset and feeling it's ok to do a few sideways swaps is that even 40 trades will disappear before you know it. We had 36 last year and was then given a bonus of 2 more later in the year yet I ran out of them even before finals started. I'm going to be a bit more circumspect this year.I am leaning away from Heeney in this format, my only line of thinking to starting him is we have 40 trades and a hot start is an easy sideways trade to another premium if required.
As stated it is a decent chunk of cash on the bench and makes you run a bit thin as Grundy, Jordan and Robert’s should be locks in most sides.
The other problem is if people are planning on starting Jackson as well as Heeney, you’re picking two players where their fantasy relevance is role based due to other players injury. This can lock yourself into 2 required sideways trades, which in this format inevitably spells disaster.
YesHey lads, any info on how the early round byes will operate with RDT? Will it simply be the best 18 rule?
I agreeDespite the temptation to make changes, I'm sticking with the team I had pre round zero. Passing on Grundy, holding Gulden, Green & Daicos. Even had Whitfield, though changed him to Young after the last pre-season game, back to Whitfield now. Only new player is Howes on the defence bench.
Could all blow up in my face. Plenty of risks, too many bye players, not a lot of value, but I'm rolling with it.
