Think it's pretty clear that a move to Vic was always his intention, he just wanted to shift the focus away from himself and reduce the distraction while Port were entering a finals campaign.

Be that as it may, Pick 5 better not going anywhere near these hypothetical discussions. Great player, but absolutely not something we should be doing unless he goes and spends his post-season trip with Clarry, and Port offloads him nice and cheap as a result.

You get what I mean though. No good having one foot in Alberton and another in Victoria. Get split up the middle.

Yeah, Pick 5 needs to stay as far away from Houston as possible. Either keep it or split it for 2 picks in the first round. As I said maybe wait until Richmond are done with their respective Baker, Bolton, Rioli trades and then try to trade for their first rounders.

Pick 5 should go towards the best midfield kick in the draft, whoever that is. A Gulden type would be nice.

Finn O’Sullivan seems to be the pundits pick of the yard for ball use, and kicking.

Same thing with Taj Hotton. Someone could end up with a bargain there given how good his start to year was and how much his draft position seems to have dropped since his ACL. Reminds me a bit of Shai Bolton in the way he plays. Will be very interesting to see when he gets taken

Konstanty according to Gettable will be leaving. Didn’t mention a club
Membrey it was mentioned on Gettable we may not be as keen at we’re into Derksen
Peatling has an offer from giants and may yet stay. But had several suitors from vic. Including Dees. No front runner mentioned.

Houston to Carlton makes me feel a little unwell. They have got a lot of decent players through the door recently; their accountants must be as good as their tribunal lawyers. I find it funny to see them fluff their lines still, but it's only a matter of time before it clicks I fear. The list is just too good. I can't see what they'd give Port though. Plus Carlton would be a premiership rival to Port...does that play a factor at all? North or the Saints might be a decent shout.

Would we contemplate next year's F1 for Houston? I quite rate him due to how good a kick he is. We need that badly. Can't see it happening though. Trac scared him right off.

Sucks, we need more small forwards. Kozzy alone is not enough. Chin floats in and out.

We've seen how devastating the forward-line from Sydney, Hawthorn, Geelong etc when they have smalls just running amok.

I hope I am. I see their list as very good, but their gameplan as ordinary. Very 2021. Doesn't stack up now but they can still muscle plenty of wins due to individuals.
Anyway, don't know why I'm wasting my time talking about them!
