Can't be ****ed doing research but surely at some point GWS or GC flogged off a couple of players to a team who made the GF
Tom lynch won a grand final first year at Richmond but they were already a dominant side. My favourite story is Jolly, got traded to the Swans in 04 and won a premiership then got traded to Collingwood in 09 and won another. Brian Lake was a good story, after being a bit of a fat campaigner at the Bulldogs, got traded to hawthorn, got really fit at the Hawks and went on to win a norm Smith in his first year then another two.

Shame Lake didn't join us. Could have been Tom Gillies.

Petty got the 3 votes in our win against the catters this year... 👀
One of his only good games for the year but Brownlow votes? 3 Brownlow votes! In a year where they were even more bias towards midfielders than usual... Boggles the mind.

For reference he got a whopping 1 coaches vote for the game. Not even both coaches could give him a token 1 vote...

I did a roast chicken thread on this board once

Defenders just don’t get a look in when it comes to the Brownlow.
Which is why they should have an award for them.

Forwards have the Coleman

Mids have the Brownlow

Defenders have ???(Maybe the Frawley, IDK spit-balling )

Brisbane's first is an option for us, Dees are into it. They need the points.

Also apparently talking to Gold Coast about a similar deal to Geelong getting Bowes (player and pick for salary cap relief). Not sure on the player though.

Second hand info, but rumour that Houston was spotted catching up with Richo and Jack Viney so perhaps that one's not totally dead in the water?

Sam Edmund saying this morning don't rule out Melbourne in circling back for Houston...
