To elaborate...
  • Yeo rested?
Theres been no indication Yeo will be rested this week. Simmo was prompted in the presser, and he said theyll look at it based off learnings from previous years, along with kelly at some stage

Also its Yeos 200th, theyll give it to him in a home game this week for sure rather than over in Melbourne next week

Tough week again for trading. Parish looks a very interesting option priced at 93 with a reasonable run coming into the byes.

Baker is one I'm very interested in up forward with the Tigers injuries and a great run pre byes.
Will be interesting to see whether Darcy Jones holds this week. I think I'm more keen on Taj Woewodin though, looks to have the Salem role and should be more consistent hopefully moving forward.

33% of teams are ghost ships.
Yeh, plenty are early selectors. Saying that, he hasn't done much wrong, I just couldn't go there with Yeo, Williams and Whitfield all 1 cold gust of wind away from the vest.

On ownership, all these Howes owners come out of the woodwork last round.
Quite sure everyone traded him out, especially with Clohesy & Graham arriving, then bam.. all these teams looping his score onfield.

Half expected the same with Kerch, but seems many did trade him.

I held Howes. Wasn't enough cash to get me where I wanted at his bye. Couldn't loop him on though as Hore is my other bench player.

Gordon Ramsey Idiot GIF

Was originally going Dawson but not 100% sure, can get anyone this week.

Who from Merrett, Dawson, Serong and Green?

Merrett basically top price so think id rather save the cash.

Leaning towards Dawson or Serong because of the Round 13 or 14 bye, Dawson has some very good matchups after Port this week.

Dawson always tends to dominate in showdowns - I think he’s the pick.
You wait for green til round 13 I think!

Downside of Dawson is the thursday game this week, but id pick Dawson if you dont care about that. Green if you dont want to lock trades that early

I held him for some other reason, and he kicked his cash gen into gear again so he was worth a hold. In line for an upgrade next week.

Jones should hold, he kicked 3 goals, would be very very stiff to lose his spot

This is why I'm quietly confident that my team isn't as bad as the last two rounds suggest. Holding Howes and McKercher are going to work out in the end but I should be at least two trades ahead (ignoring Crouch and Stewart  )

You're laughing holding McKercher I reckon now they've shoved him back.

Howes we should get another game or 2 of solid cash gen.

He looked great and they want to get games into him. Just a question on who comes out for Greene given Jones and Thomas both have done enough to warrant selection. Brent Daniels as the unused sub as well vying for the small forward spots.

At least all of my rookies left are the “good” scoring ones (Wilson, Reid, Graham, Clohesy, Roberts, Howes)

Should be slowly upgrading them in the coming weeks via one up one down

Yeah mine onfield are Wilson, Reid, Mckercher, Roberts, Clohesy and Graham/Williams looping this week.

Had some real rough Midpricers though so hopefully i can up/down Williams/rooks starting next week.

Looking at GWS’s Thursday team, there’s a few that could get moved or dropped for him to stay

Taylor comes in for Aleer, Cogs in for Wehr, Ward could be managed etc

If they managed to find a place for Thomas they will for Jones

Next few weeks the plan will hopefully be:
Powell, Gallagher, Lazaro, Campbell downgraded

Xerri, Sharp (M6), Roberts (M7), Clohesy (M8) upgraded

The hope is that Rozee is a one week rest and I hold him and get an upgrade ahead of others.
Would mean entering round 11 with only Reid, Wilson, Garcia/rookie in F4-6 to deal with over the byes.

So it won’t happen!?

YEP - I wish they'd get rid of these statistically - say if you don't use trades two weeks in a row, statistically parked.
