Well FMD!!!

AFL stoop to new depths of incompetency.

Off to the Tribunal and embarrass that peanut Christian yet again.

Sadly I have no faith that the tribunal will adjudicate this one any better than the Dangerfield case last week.

I feel for Boyd, he got 3 weeks last year for a tackle that was less aggressive than Dangers last week and now has to sit out again for Mansell’s stupidity.

I hope we challenge and the charge gets laughed out but I just don’t trust the system.

When did Kane cornes start making sense? Has he stopped going for shock value or is common sense now shocking, in the commentary lands ruled by the Brian Taylors?
He's quietly pivoting. He's still shock jock but he's certainly recently made an effort to try to say more balanced things in between

Boyd did everything in his power to avoid taking out Mansell, you can see he runs in and stops on the boundary line and virtually cradle Mansell and then stumbles forward. Mansell got straight up and played out the game, end of story.

There was no malice in what Boyd did and the Richmond players didn't retaliate as per Cripps did with Nank's hit on Harry where he wasn't even looking at the ball.

We're challenging!

How tf is this medium impact? Michael Christian once again proves his bias and incompetence.

Will get downgraded to low impact and a fine surely.
Will get tossed. No fine. Mansell ducks back into contact to draw a free kick.

what you mean?
The journos are now joining the chorus that it was Mansell that contributed to the high contact and front on nature of the collision because he decided to duck his head and go low instead of continuing the natural momentum of fully extending his torso and taking the bump which would have put him out of bounds.

Boyd provided a duty of care by planting his feet, lifting his arms, and attempted to hault his own momentum to avoid or limit contact to Manuel's head.

Complete contrast to the bullshit we heard from BT, Selwood, and a couple of other nuphys.

Good luck to Boydy tonight, nevertheless.

The journos have been saying that the whole time. There's been nobody besides Brian Taylor and selwood live that have said boyd did the wrong thing. More have said mansell should be suspended than boyd.
