AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Half back, and kill it there too I reckon.I think you've got FOS and SL too high in possessions, both should be 7's. Draper should be a 10 in separation from contest or FOS and SL should be 7's, Langford should be lower again. Draper is the best tackler of the lot, should be a 9. Lalor's endurance should probably be a 7. Also what alternative position could Harvey Langford play?
Kennedy had footy traits, why was he playing forward for us and then moved on at the end of year?
Let's be real here Langford is far closer to Kennedy than he is Pendlebury. I'm no huge fan of FOS but he, Draper and Smith are undoubtedly better fits for our midfield than Langford is.Not all players that lack pure burst speed are the same
Pendlebury is a prime example
Jagga underrated here for play alt position - I reckon he’d be our best and most creative small forward if rested/played there

I get the love for Langford but he's not at all similar to what the list teams mentioned as being a priority for us on draft night.
Love this nameFOS played a lot of time on the wing this year and did lots of defensive running up and down the ground.

I still think the Tigers are a big chance of ending up with pick 2.From all reports they don't see a big difference between players at 2 and 6. They'll still have access to that top group of mids. If they force North to use 2 on Tauru even a Jagga could get there. They want to cash in a couple of later picks for F1s. Sets their list up much better long term. Even if the deal was only 6+20 for 2. They could get an F1 for 20 so in reality it's 6+F1 vs 2.
I'm less of a sceptic of the media then others. When the whispers are this loud and this consistent (e.g. Lalor pick 1, Tauru to North) 9 times out of 10 they're right.
Who are you addressing that to? I quoted posts, they weren't mine
Why wouldn’t North just trade with us or Adelaide then?I feel like the Tigers and Melbourne are both boxing North in now... both are suggesting they may take him at 5 and 6. I think they know by boxing North in that everyone gets who they want.
And on a side note... I think people will totally get the Tauru decision at pick 2. Its overs, but it also makes so much sense for them. Its getting another mid that I think is the dumb decision for them. They love Tauru, so just go get your man and dont worry what others think/say
General smarts and positioning mainly.Blitzed how?
Speed?
2-way Running Capacity/Tank?
General Smarts and positioning?
They are all good things to have but do you think he could play there permanently?
If you put a midfield of 4 Cripps together it would be a disaster. That's the case being made here.
Can ask for dispensationDon't think we can trade our F2 from the Lions as it would leave us with no F1 or F2 which isn't allowed
No current season stats available
I might be wrong about the opposition - doesn't help there are two Lions in the comp.I wonder which of his 2 vfl games against the Lions it was? The game where he got 13 possessions or the one he got 7?
I've swapped my vote from draper to now fosI’ve now decided my choice for Pick 3
- Lalor/Finn
If not then Jagga

considering we're trying to carry no more injury prone down the lineSounds like Pars Defect can heal and doesn’t have to turn into a chronic issue if treated/managed early before too much damage. Not sure we should take the risk with it given our history. Still Jagga for mine. https://www.physioinq.com.au/blog/what-is-pars-interaticularis-defect

There is something about this guy that I just keep coming back too and saying could be the best of the group.
It’s already being reported as a chronic pars defect:Sounds like Pars Defect can heal and doesn’t have to turn into a chronic issue if treated/managed early before too much damage.
