Very weird game of football.

Both offenses and QB's struggled all games.

Special teams and defensive turnovers the only way to score.

Then both QB's came to life a little in the last Quarter and actually passed the ball, both pathetic for 3 quarters.

Drew Pyne the back up QB for Mizzou all game as Brady Cook out. Is bloody terrible to watch, but like I said he came up big in last 5 or so minutes.

Mizzou's QB depth must be really bad if Pyne is the best they have as back up. We won't win another game if he is in.

Season is done for Mizzou anyway. might as well see whats there, you will be playing a meaningless bowl game somewhere between Christmas and New Years. Team had playoff hopes and know they died in the Alabama game so hard to keep them motivated. Used to only see that with powerhouse teams but with the expanded playoffs more tier 2 teams are looking that way.

Yep Agree, As soon as Cook went off against Alabama, the season was over.

Pyne 3 very quick Interception throws, was so bad.

I wonder how much chaos we need for Washington St to make the playoffs. they would need 2 non P4 schools to get in and Boise falling apart wont do anything since there is no pac-12 championship so cant get that AQ bid anyway.

Might start seeing some of those tier 2 schools having players sit the rest of the year when they get a 3rd loss and look towards the NFL if they are a projected day1 or 2 pick. especially if they feel the team has not much will left. the old opt out of bowls might move to November now.

BYU and Miami losing will be huge for Boise. if BYU cant come back in the 2nd half.

Boise could have the inside track on a 1st round bye soon. SMU are chasing down Miami now for the ACC. but Big12 is a mess if BYU stumble

Hopefully this game showed Kirby once and for all that Beck ain't it and Bobo is a ****ing horrid OC. He was shit the first time around and nothing has changed. The fact that when Monken left we could have basically gone out and got anybody we wanted and still hired Bobo is a sad indictment on Kirby giving his mate a job. His bullshit play calling cost us the SEC last season and a chance to 3 peat. His play calling this season has been screen, screen, and then screen some more. I know there is only so much he can do with the receivers continually dropping passes but we have two very capable TEs that he seems reluctant to use for some reason. Even in this game we kept using ****ing Yurosek who drops every other pass instead of Luckie and Delp who are both good enough to start as a TE at any other program in the country.

If we had Bennett instead of Beck we are undefeated. Beck might have more talent than Stetson but he has nowhere near the mental fortitude and will to win. He is too busy ****ing around with his Lambo and chasing clout to worry about winning football games. He should have gone to the NFL last season because he has cost himself millions now. This season has shown that he relied too much on Bowers and McConkey to bail him out.

The defence. Those bunch of squibs showed once again that without Mykel Williams and Smael Mondon that they are anaemic as ****. I don't know if it is personnel or scheme but I am so god damn sick of seeing wide open receivers over the middle again, and again, and again. If we are making QBs fire it into a tight window then fair enough but too often there is nobody within 5 yards of the receiver. One thing we have always been able to count on under Kirby is a great defence but there is a massive gulf between the championship defences and this team.

I had faint hopes we could turn our season around and actually show we are a championship calibre team but we are nowhere near it.

Crazy end to that game. BYU OL looked shot and then Utah d took soft option and gave them a shot. What’s that a midnight finish over there?
Yeah Mountain timezone is just after midnight
