Just wanted to pop in here to remind everyone that Mason Fletcher is having a GOAT season performing as a punter for the Cincinnati Bearcats while also playing quarterback incognito at The Citadel Bulldogs.

Fortunately I have Bigfooty reminding me every time I log on, that he not only laid a hit on a punt returner last weekend, he also used his legs to score two touchdowns for The Citadel Bulldogs.

It's great to read such accurate reporting on the Melbourne native, who also hails from Flint, Michigan.

LSU and Miami didnt drop as far as i would of had them, Georgia also lucky to be above Boise but it doesnt matter because as G5 champ Boise would jump them and push them out.

The season has been great with parity, no quite 2007, but just shows you how much the old conferences protected the elite teams. Now they've got to face other really good teams more often.
But have they?

SEC appears that way, but with all of the ACC, AAC, BigTen and Big XII, to me it feels like losing the divisional setup has lead to mismatch schedules. Army, BYU, Indiana - They more feel like they're where they're because of beating up on the scrubs of their conference.

I do feel the current setup is perfect and will lead to great equality and we will get what you're suggesting.

But my fear is if they do come out and lock 4 (or even 3) spots each to bigTen and SEC, it'll revert back to how it was in the plus one system. It makes them defacto feeder leagues and everyone else suffers. It'll take a TCU or Washington type season we've seen recently to make it interesting. But they probably wont be able to stay up there.
