Has anyone here been to an LSU game in the recent past. I have tickets for LSU V Alabama and was wondering the best way to get to the game from Lafayette? I have a hire car but would it be easier to get a bus from Lafayette instead if fighting traffic and paying for a carpark?

I also got a tix to the LSU v Bama game. My first ever college football game and I can’t wait. In New Orleans for a work conference so grabbed the chance to head up to Baton Rouge. Also got tix to my Falcons v Saints the next day.

Any advice re transport to and from New Orleans?

Make sure you have a gun on you for self defence.

Atlanta vs New Orleans is pure hatred.
For non-soccer rivalries, I'd say it's in the top 3 for pure hatred between the fanbases in all sports worldwide.

There's a shuttle from new Orleans return but it's about 105USD. Convenient but expensive.

Was weighing up wearing my Falcons cap & tee. Maybe not!
I felt uncomfortable even wearing my Falcons guernsey airside at the airport post TSA check.
I wouldn't dare do it in public in New orleans.

But if we win, it'd be amazing.
My first NFL game we beat New Orleans in OT at the Georgia Dome.

What a shock. K-State are taking knees and colorado call the final timeout even with 70sec left so no chance to get the ball back.

K-State are lucky that Colorado are so bad

Funny I used to have some affinity for the Spackers before I spent time in Chicago. Wow do those wounds run far deeper than Aussie folk realize despite us being punished by them for decades now. Not joking with the gun violence in Chicago you would be foolish to wear GB shit out in the inner city there

The rivalry means more to the Bears fans because we have been so dominant the last 30 years. Not that Packers fans don't also feel it.

But if the Bears went 2-15 with the 2 wins over the Packers they would be happy, but if the Packers went 2-15 only beating the Bears it wouldn't be a success in the fans eyes.

But Packers fans are also friendly tailgating.

2 games I would never go to because of how violent the fans get are Falcons/Saints and 9ers/Raiders. Both those games have a chance to have more stabbings then points scored

Other than Falcons/Saints, the one game I'd be afraid of going to was Ole Miss-Mississippi State.

Dont get me wrong, there's many other high profile rivalries in america which are more interesting. But from a pure hatred between the teams, those 2 are far and away worse than anything else I've came across in America.

What I find amazing about todays results is that despite 217 rushing yards, 20 receiving yards, and 2 Touchdowns, most Boise State fans seem dissapointed in the game and that it was a poor game for Jeanty.

I mean, from a Yards per carry aspect, it was his worse all year.

But come on, still Hei2man worthy

Georgia/Tennessee/Ole Miss in a top 10 game would be bad.

BYU and Utah State gets wild.

Most rivalries are more vocal then physical with fans luckily. Iron bowl is a thing post game if it's a upset like Tumors tree and other "pranks"

Nonsense mate.
After a regular Bears loss there are hundreds of Cheeseheads on every social I’m a member of gloating away even when they’ve lost themselves in games non relevant.
You’re probably unaware of the animosity because you don’t feel the hatred that exists back in the Midwest. It’s real.
