What is the Rams receiver doing? As if he can't see the Lions defender in a position to catch it, instead he just goes for a chest mark, when he could have put his hands out to either try and catch it or at worst stop the Lions defender catching it

FWIW both Joe Thomas and Mitch Schwartz say this has more to do with the fact that OL can't get up the way you would pull up a WR/RB from the ground - big fat OL with bad backs and knee braces etc = can only get up by getting on hands and knees and then pushing themselves up
