Haven't looked much in the draft but surely Carolina are picking before Dallas? They need a QB too. Surely Dallas win a game or two

Its not a good year to need a QB with the draft class. Ewers is there, but someone is going to get suckered into Sanders and regret it before preseason even starts.

Cam Ward same as always starts good, fades fast and hasnt developed as much as he should.
Dart and Milroe might end up 1st if teams are desperate or have big pro days. but its not a good class outside Ewers who would of been 4th taken this year.

I think you draft a qb and sit him behind dak. He won't have pressure to start straight away, unless he beats out dak to earn the starting position.
You ride dak for 2025 season and 2026 season, then cut or trade him. His cap hit after 2026 season is managable.

If that was even a thought they wouldnt of extended him 2 months ago. They know who Dak by now and decided they were happy to keep him for another few years.
