Steelers have 6th least passing yards. 3 of teams worst than them has already had their bye in chargers, dolphins, titans. If you take them out due to playing 1 less game. Only teams worst at passing are browns (Watson) and New England (brissett).
This is why they are going to Wilson the passing attack should be way better and fields rushing doesn’t make up the difference. His averaging about 40 yards rushing a game with a 4.2 yards average with a season long of 18 yards.
The defense is winning games not fields.

Steelers have too much trouble keeping the QB clean to let guys down the field. It's going to be sacks and quick throws

Steelers have got a good coach and defense, and have done most years in recent history, but for some reason refuse to try and get a functional QB to get them over the line. It was the corpse of Big Ben, then a young QB obviously out of his depth, now a bunch of reclamation projects.

They’re wasting the prime years of one of the best defensive players in the comp (maybe the best) and a pretty good supporting cast.

They’ll narrowly miss the playoffs, or squeak in but get hammered in the first week. Rinse and repeat.
