Ah Purdy. Wouldn't have even thrown another redzone interception if his noodle arm could hit Cowling in stride.

And of course Shanahan calling a predictable run on 2nd and goal.

This team and their mistakes.

Jared Goff for MVP ?

Feel he is miles infront but maybe not a fancy enough team ?

Wasn't one of the top candidates in betting markets entering Week 7;

People will point to the injuries, but this team should have been 5-1 before this game (gifted the Rams and Cards victories) and although KC were the better team today they were also helped enormously by the shitty coaching and poor play from Purdy, Aiyuk, special teams in general etc.

Shanahan is having a nightmare this season, but I don't see much criticism. The team is still good enough but they're being mismanaged. He is still a conservative play caller that can't function effectively under pressure, and while the playing list might not be his primary responsibility you'd assume he has some input. They ****ed up the QB position for years, lucked into Purdy (who is decent at least), and are now getting killed by shitty special teams and crappy discipline on key plays by the o-line and d-lines as well.

It's way more likely that Shanahan leaves his coaching position before SF make another deep playoff run imo. The window is closing rapidly.

What a let down. Doubt we make playoffs from here. Kyle just isn’t a good play caller and lynch is rubbish at improving weakness areas of the team. Watch him make a panic trade now.

Is there some alternate NFL universe where the 49ers think they can call plays with Purdy taking forever to throw the ball behind THAT line? Maybe it's the same universe that has the most penalty riddled offensive line never being called against the 49ers?

And the turning point of the game was Aiyuks drop on 3rd down followed by the expected big punt return.

Worst situational play caller in the league.

Lucky for 49rrs Nfc West sucks this year

lol people complaining at the 49ers “shitty play and coaching “, Mahomes went for 149 yards , zero TD’s and no offence and STILL WON.

Isn't that the point? Throw in 2 interceptions as well and the 49ers offense couldn't get it done. That's on the HC offensive guru who also refuses to fire his Special Teams coach.

NY Football Giants can certainly feel free to hire:

Depodesta
Berry
Stefanski

Have at it---only franchise dumber than Cleveland
