Watched a number of games on delay this weekend on ESPN. Enjoyed them some good games.

But FMD if I hear that promo where the girl finishes by saying “who’s better than me? Nobody!” ..I’ll f***** throw up. I hated it so much I actually stopped fast forwarding and watched it again ..like staring at a car crash.

Agree, horrible. Thought about sticking a screwdriver in my ears so I couldn’t hear her

Who thought that would make a good ad.

Broken leg for Godwin?
Dislocated ankle allegedly

Is it just me or has there been an incredible increase in injuries across the league, it seems like every team has genuine stars out of action for extended periods of time?

I don't play fantasy but I can imagine it's been utterly terrible this year

ESPN ads are Chinese water torture. I fookin hate them and the repetition of them.
I’m still getting over “I made a sign” and now this 🙉

McDaniel didnt clear him to play. If you want to reach and blame anyone blame the doctor not the coach.

Totally agree with that.
F the doctors. Same as the Blues with McKay, same as the Doctors when Tua went down.

It’s still true to say the Coach is valuing his job over his starting QB’s health, though. He picks the team ultimately.

Next time Mahomes does that run down the sidelines and fakes going out I hope someone runs right through him and puts him in the grandstand. It's ridiculous, he is taking advantage of the fact defenders will get penalised if they hit him out of bounds so acts if he's pulling up then cheats extra yards forward. If the referees aren't going to bring it back and call it as having given himself up then the defenders should run through him to make him think twice next time.

He's been doing it for years and getting away with it, I hated it when I first saw it and hate it even more now.

I miss the Tom Brady preferential treatment in comparison. Mahomes far worse.

At least Brady's was when he was in the pocket, this is Mahomes as a runner, faking the step out of bounds and then cheating extra yards (almost to the end zone yesterday) when the defender stops for fear of getting penalised.

I guess you create a 1 yard zone where a QB hit is deemed unstoppable?

I think Mahomes is clever to do what he does - manipulating the rules and the refs - but if you give the defender that buffer zone you ensure ( or should) he steps out when the danger is close and not take it further

Honestly someone should flog him so hard, just one time, make it look like you're trying to belt his facemask through his teeth, cop the 15 yards, the ejection, and the eventual 12 game suspension.

But he'll think twice about doing it again.

The trouble is that that player and team get some benefit but mostly negative, for the sake of the league.

An upcoming opponent needs to pre warn / make a statement in the media ahead of the game, putting it on notice for the refs, the media, and KC of course.

What a load of crap - piling on a guy for working the rules to his and his team's benefit.

You know what they call a guy who doesn't? A loser.

Fair point. The counterpoint is that the defender in our examples would also be following the rules. The hit would come just as he is crossing the line, not clearly late, not clearly egregious.

Especially if he is hit while still in bounds after trying to get some extra yards.

Chiefs play Raiders this week, so it's likely to happen
We are tanking anyway. Someone should put him in to next week. Legal or illegal

Murk him good. Just make sure you do it on your sideline though. If he hops out of bounds and you slug him, Big Red is liable to squash you under his tremendous girth. And If he stays in bounds it's sorta legal right?
