Maybe a team that hasn’t won a superbowl in 40 years should spend more time improving than giving extra motivation to the current Super Bowl champions.

Baffles me why teams do stuff like this or trash talk another team shouldn’t be giving teams any extra reasons to beat you.

Jake Haener revealed Friday that he has a rare form of skin cancer on his face and will have an evaluation August 1 to determine his treatment plan moving forward, Mike Triplett of New Orleans.Football reports.

Haener added that the condition isn't believed to be life-threatening, but he is still determining whether to put off treatment. If Haener opts to put off treatment, he would likely continue to compete against rookie fifth-round draft pick Spencer Rattler for the backup quarterback job behind Derek Carr throughout training camp and the preseason

None of these QBs (Love and Prescptt included) "deserve" to push the bar higher than each other. They've all yet to actually achieve Super Bowl appearances/victories. Goff the exception really.

Superbowl appearances should have very little to do with it, sometimes you just dont have the team around you, think Justin Herbert, but I agree with your overall sentiment.

Almost no player ever "deserves" to reset the market. the last 10-15 years QB contracts have exploded with trash getting big money so good players need huge deals.

The Tua deal is something that will be super interesting to see how its structured. Its a huge risk for a player with concussion issues. So Miami would want some outs based on that.

So it means Dak will be asking for $60m and the 9ers will have to pay around Tua money to keep Purdy in about 9 months.

Richardson was always a project. but needs to protect himself. would say he is a tick if he can learn to avoid hits.

but shows how crazy lucky the 2020 class was.
But the best time to take a QB is when you dont need to but your guy falls into your lap. otherwise you are hoping they are the guy.
