Since the Pats swung and missed in FA it wouldnt surprise me at all if they trade back with the Giants and try to build up the roster a bit first before drafting a QB.

Been thinking the same.

Brissett can hold the reins for a season or 2, Wolf needs to give him a few more young weapons and pass protection and simultaneously restock their spudly roster for the next few drafts.

Still take a QB but with a latter pick, Milton or Ratter type speculative pick.

Personally I would be doing that even if Patriots used 3 on a QB. Zappe is a spud who needs replacing.

Also with out landing a big fish, take the opportunity to bank some cap space for the future to get better players when they are on the improve.
Cause right now, no one any goods going to want to go anywhere near Foxborough.

Honestly think it will be Maye available at 3. I just think the signing of Mariota and trade of howell signals their going the mobile QB. If Maye was the play at 2 for Commanders they would of kept Howell who played with in college and is friends with Maye.
