List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft

Wes Walley - didn't really stand out in the futures game with 10 and a goal. Should've drafted Jack Ough this year and then Wes in 25. Seriously though what are these parents thinking

Tied to WC. They'll be hiding him for sure.

Whan I think belongs to Freo.

Add Sharp to the list.

I'm currently hoping for 2 of Sharp, Greeves & Rodriguez although Duursma wouldn't surprise either if we went that way.

Assuming they are all mids? Who are the 2 that you think / want to progress based on how they play?

Obviously I am only an expert on all things 2024 draft class.

Ideally Greeves and Duursma become the best available at our 2 picks for the fact they're Vic.

I think Greeves may be bit similar to what we have.

I'd imagine we've got pick 1 and it will be Sharp.

Rodriguez with some speed and elite footskills on both sides will be hard to pass up but a WA kid which is annoying.

Yeah Sharp appears to have pick 1 locked up you would think.

We will 100% need to add some speed iMO

Yeah Sharp is at the top, all eyes will be on him no doubt.

Bugger didn't realise Whan was an academy kid.

I like Greeves, looks very composed & Rodriguez ability on both sides is well above average.

Should be able to add them later. We've got our talls, should have our mids after those 2 picks and then just the outside class which usually come a bit later.

Although, Hotton, Hugo, Campbell, Judson etc is a start.

Greeves had a really nice futures game, best I've seen of him as a mid. I like his forward game too, he's a bit of a cross between Lalor & Smillie without the real brute style of play.

22/11/2024 - this thread sux.

Bookmarked for draft night 2025 when we have pick 1 and 2.

No love for Onley? Need to see more but I didn’t think his futures game was crash hot but was also stuck on HFF.

Personally Greeves is my fav this far out. Basically Smillie 2.0 but maybe has pace? Seen him break a couple of lines with pace in the futures game which I wasn’t expecting but none of it was from standing start.

We thought that about FOS this year.

I’m not as sold on sharp as Tigs. He’s an inside beast and defensively elite, so he’ll be a stud next to Lalor and Smillie. But he has a weird gait when walking/running, his kicking motion isn’t very smooth especially when kicking long and I’m not sure how good he is in transition. That futures game just went around him as it was so uncontested.

But he does have a presence or will, was really noticeable in his sanfl games where he just kind of change the momentum of the game and lifted his team without do something special but more like a massive Cotchin tackle or just getting the ball forward at any cost ala Jack.

Dont you dare book mark me, keep your accountability to yourself.

Onley looks a bit too much like a big tractor. Although took a big athletic mark at Champs. Don't think he will be a great fit with Smillie.

That Futures game was very outside and uncontested. Didn't suit Onley or Sharp.

Sharps running seems to be he uses as minimal energy as possible to get contest to contest. He barely lifts his feet.

If he got to play CTL next year he would put up Jagga numbers imo.

Having said that it won't surprise me if some catch up to him next year. Top 6-10 looks better than this year.

Meanwhile when tiger_tough sees it he’ll be trying to work out how I filmed my phone screen… did I use a 2nd phone?

Dumb campaigner 🤣

If duursma has a strong season he’d make a lot of sense for us. Wing, half back, midfield, 190cm and a good runner

still trying to cut it down to 10
Can’t believe Tigerbob hasnt put out his top 10 wish list yet

Next years will be a lot easier than this years to form a top ten.

The top end is very strong but at this stage, doesn’t have the depth of talent this year has.

Evidence of the brilliant Blair having two early firsts and nothing else.

How ****ing good is Blair

I feel last year we had almost forgotten how well he can operate even to the point that if Hardwick really pushed it wouldn’t be a massive loss if he headed up North

But this trade/draft period has really cemented how important his presence is with his ability to not just get deals done but execute plans as well
