Josh Lindsay put himself firmly on the radar for 2025 with his BOG performance in the under 17 futures game on grand final day. A dashing defender with a classy and creative left foot, in this game he shows his ability to read the play and take intercept marks. He also managed to win a few clearances at stoppage, perhaps hinting at a potential future move into the midfield.

Bit spooky there's another Lindsay who's a left footer with good foot skills.

Xavier would be a Richmond player if Melbourne didn't take him

Archie Ludowyke is an interesting talent with plenty of supporters and some detractors. He started the season strongly, hitting the scoreboard regularly and getting called up to play a game for Vic Metro where he had some nice moments. His close to the season wasn't as strong, particularly struggling to impact during the Dragons finals run. He's a moments player at this stage, able to find space inside the forward 50 and hit up strongly at the ball carrier. His set shot goal kicking can be variable, and he does struggle at times with his overhead marking, tending to double grab, although he has shown an ability to clunk them when he gets it right.

Messed up the name on the thumbnail. Fun times.

Are we not entitled to a priority pick if we end bottom 2/3 as we’ve been shit now for a while?

AFL doesnt give out PP's that way anymore. It was stopped when Melbourne rorted the system. Now you have to be North level of crap and even then you might get end of 1st rounders.

Sam Cumming is a midfield/forward prospect from South Australia with a versatile skill set. He's strong overhead for his size which allows him to present as a marking target in the forward 50 or around the ground, he cracks in at contest and stoppage and possesses finishing skills on the outside. A prospect that many will be keenly watching in 2025, he appears to have the attributes needed to have his name in the first round conversation.

You'll probably have to wait until after new years. Going to take a bit of a break after this week, back early Jan depending on hangover status. When I'm back I'll probably start bashing out games for the top bunch at a faster pace.

You are a star. Maybe seeing stars, but definitely one yourself.
