I always wonder how much sentiment players put on that stuff.

I feel like if I won't a flag/BnF/Brownlow etc in a number that I would keep it.

Side note: I miss the days of club legends handing over jumper numbers after their last game.

Not sure it was super common but I'm pretty sure all of Loewe (Koschitzke), Burke (X. Clarke) and Hayes (Dunstan) all handed their jumpers to the young blokes after their last games.

100% want to see that happen again.

Imagine the scenes after the Hawks last game of Breust hands his jumper to Watson.

Or Fyfe hands the #7 to Josh Treacy or something.

Would be ace to see IMO
