Dattoli won't be playing until at least April/May and Trainor is still recovering from his ACL.

What will the flex position be used for?
Originally, I thought it would be useful to use it for a third ruck as the traditional R3 is non playing.
Then again, would it be better to use it with another rookie as more cash generation?

My January team is as follows:
No doubt it will change considerably before round 1 but I like the look of it at the moment.
Defenders - Sheezel. Dale, Short, Mills, Coleman, Trevalia Bice, Allan
Mids - Bont, Walsh, Brayshaw, Rozee, Oliver, Smith, Smilie, Lindsay Draper, El Hawli, Rowston
Rucks - De Koning, Darcy Sims
Forwards - Smith, Macrae, Phillipou, Parker, Daniel, Hewitt Curtain, Cleary
Flex - Cumming

I have tried to avoid selecting Opening round players however Mills, Coleman and Smith were automatic selections unless something untoward were to happen in the preseason. As players get upgraded, I will start to bring in Opening round players to balance the squad out. Walsh may actually be replaced by Green after he's had his round 2 bye.
