Looking for a cash AFL Fantasy draft league but don't want to go through the rigmarole of trying to rally a group of mates?
DT Shiva is the answer.
What is DT Shiva?
It is Australia's largest AFL fantasy draft competition. It's the premium experience for the yearly format and the best part is, you don't need to organise anything except for your own team - we sort the rest!
The competition's now into its 13th year. In 2024, we had 780 coaches across 65 divisions. A podcast, draft parties around the country, song competitions and more.
How does it work?
$60 entry per coach. Each coach is sorted into a division of 12. Dominate your league and there are multiple avenues to promotion, climbing the ladder to the most prestigious draft prize in the country, the Shiva.
There are cash prizes for every league & competition-wide prizes throughout the season.
What are the settings?
Shiva is a yearly re-draft league with promotion and relegation. Lineup of 5-6-1-5-1 with 8 bench players. No captains. Best 15 in bye rounds.

When is the draft?
The 2025 draft takes place for all coaches on Sunday March 9 at 2pm AEDT / 1:30pm ACDT / 1pm AEST / 11am AWST.
First and foremost though, this competition is about community. Well, the quest for fantasy glory, and community.
DT Shiva 2025 registration is open now. New coaches will be sorted into new leagues on a first come, first sorted basis (ie. you’ll be higher if you register sooner).
