Nope
30% discount on an average of 45 or so. Prices him at an average of 31 which is typically where the top 10 draftees are. Basement guys are priced at around 20 or so
Still pretty much a must have if he gets through this offseason. Should still have FWD status as well (I haven't checked).

Yep I'd take 55-60 from a forward rookie.

Reckon that Bo Allen could be a good D6 option. He'll likely start for us off half back ?
I doubt it. How does he get a game?

Mostly because we suck
I think he'll start in the WAFL. We will suck but we'll at least have 23 AFL-level players next year so there's no rush to play the kids. I don't expect to see any Eagles rookies in round 1 at this stage.

Even if Allan does play, it wont be in a prominent role, hes not a high possession player or anything anyway

Would have got games for Freo this year off a half back flank, he was playing league, won a GF with Peel.

He will definitely play for West Coast, McQualter will be sabotaging his own coaching future if he isn't getting games into him

Who would Allan be playing ahead of at Freo?

Allan will likely play in 2025 at some point but there is no rush to get him in.

Aish, Wags

Banfield if we were playing him off a wing (banners played a bit of wing this year)

Worner played a couple, would've seen Allan over him

Talent is talent, if you've got talent that performs at league level then you play em at AFL

Even so, what’s the point? Seems like it’s making changes for the sake of changes which don’t actually have any benefit or impact on the game.
I guess they need to set the salary cap somewhere may as well align it with the real game.

But more to the point it generates articles with price reveals that would otherwise be known and irrelevant. All about clicks

I think you’ll find the keep the “average cap” pretty even year on year so I don’t know why people care about salary reveals at all. It’s the priced at average which matters and we all know that aside from maybe 1-2 exceptions to the rule some years

Just go back and work out last years tots average that fit within the cap (salary cap / magic number) and build a team based on player averages (including discounts etc that will apply)

It's so the players' salaries align roughly with the salaries of real players - in order to add to the 'fantasy' element of it, as if it were a kid generating their 'fantasy' side to replicate a real side.

In a salary format you need to have a salary, so might as well reflect actual salaries.

But players in the real AFL don't paid according to their fantasy average

However I do see your point

I think eagles should keep going with Ginbey as an onballer, but it doesnt appear to be happening, and surely he aint playing as the 2nd tall defender

Anyway with that

Hough - H.Edwards - Cole (Allen)
Ginbey - Mcgovern - J.Hunt

Flynn - T.Kelly - Yeo (Baker)
Duggan - H.Reid - J.Graham (1 Chesser/Hutchinson/Petruccelle/Cripps/Maric)

Owies - Waterman - E.Hewett
Long - Allen - B.Williams (L.Ryan)

Sub: From brackets

Pretty sure Gibney has said he is heading to the backline as a 3rd tall this year and said he's looking forward to it.

Yeh they played him back their end of last year and seems to be continuing that way with mentions this PS

After doing a best 22 it does look like they lack a bit of depth in the backline

With Barass injury he has to play 2nd tall a bit last year, but youd think they will play Harry Edwards if fit

With the depth of the draft this year I can see a lot of the draftees getting games, role and position will be the key though.

They guys that get to play down back should be the most productive, thinking the Travaglia, Tauru, Allan and Lindsay (mid) types.

You'd think that most of the rookies that debut in the mids will have a secondary role to start with, Smillie could well be played of HB with the odd role around stoppages, Lalor, Draper, FOS, Ashcroft and Lombard mainly forward.

I don't like starting draftees in the forward line, so KPF's (rookies) are off the menu and I don't see much production (yet) from the small forwards, Kako and Berry.

So Dylan Alexander on his youtube segment of the top 10 best rookies prospects for Fantasy scoring ......has Xavier Lindsay as his #1 prospect ...apparently is designated for the HB role vacated by Rivers (insert McKercher 2023 role)

#2 was Travaglia ....again, slated for a HB role at the SAINTS
