Get both Lindsay and Ashcroft but run the risk of holding Taylor through his bye and not copping any injury to stop me trading him out next week

Or

Trade Taylor to SDK and choose one of Ashcroft or Lindsay

🤔
That's a tough spot...and why I avoided Taylor. I think you have to get SDK in given he has the Boyd matchup.

Lindsay wait a week, pay an extra $70k for him or if he drops a 40 you can fade him. Not the worst result in the world.

I'm currently going with Garcia > Knevitt, Callaghan > Powell, can just afford it with $1k in the bank. It means I'm missing Xavier Lindsay but I'm not too fussed with that given that all of my other rookies went reasonably well (except Stone and O'Connell). Lindsay scored well but won't do that every week and will likely settle as a ~60 guy (typical winger), wouldn't be surprised if Knevitt made the same amount of coin going at about 75 from here and has Saints up next for another potential pop score.

Also means I'm holding onto Perryman for another week who I absolutely want to get rid of before his bye, but I would rather get Powell than any defender I can afford (Salem? Freijah and bank $200k? Surely a second year player won't suddenly become a 90+ guy but he did look very good). Loose plan would be Day down, Perryman up next week.

Really want to bring in lindsay but don't know how as I don't think i will be able to get him on the field.
Already used trade one

AflNerd22 Not that this needs to be explained further, but even at the peak of Boak's powers he was never an amazing fantasy player

115 is a completely out of the box score and he will regress to his mean of 65-75 over the coming weeks.
I managed to get tsatas to him. found his breakeven on footy wire as 56. So even if he gets 60-75 its money and better than tsatas. Lindsay can wait as other people have suggested as garcia, hollands or FOS are most likely going to go to him.

Can somebody with the premium coach thingo please check travis boak's breakeven for me. Thanks in advance
56 BE

Dude enough about Boak, he's as washed as me at this game. But in true fantasy fashion he will probably knock out a 120+ this week

So Peatling and Hastie/FOS out

One in will be Lindsay

Other one is a toss up between Knevitt and Hall

Knevitt gives greater scoring on field + greater score whereas Hall gives me DPP to switch things around (have none currently)

Tough one

Probably because when he finishes ranked 10k this year everyone will know he’s a fraud 🤣
To be fair, I don't think anyone who has won the car is ever a fraud. That being said I think that there are a lot of people who've finished top 1,000 or top 300 regularly over the past decade who are maybe as equally placed to give opinion on fantasy and maybe it's unfair that certain people get platforms and have podcasts etc, i can't begrudge people from doing so. I think it's just a bit rich to "retire with red ink" so to say.

I think the fact he impacted around the ground will be of most interest to Scott. As long as he's doing that I think it will be fine.

I think that comment around throwing a different look is exactly what we are seeing with him taking most CBAs but not rucking the forward or backline
I am going to toss and turn on SDK v Freijah all week (and likely make the wrong decision)

If i were you I would go Tsatas down to Lindsay and bank the cash for next week to either go:

Rylee > Rankine
NOD > Powell
Washcroft > Premium of your choice (Dunkley, Nando, Dawson etc)

I ****ed up with Logan Evan’s, but can’t find anyone half decent in that price range, so what’s your guys thoughts on Lawson Humphires? Solid 92 this week and has shown last year that he is capable of scoring in that Geelong side

I think we can all see where he's coming from to some degree.
You need to be online for an hour before EVERY game to check for subs/late outs etc.

Doing shift work, I've slept through many of these and copped premo outs.

Already missed Lashcroft non sub call and we're only at round 1. He'd have slotted in at utility.

Agree with this, it's always just been a hobby that makes watching games more enjoyable. Normally focus way more on draft anyway, but have to admit, for the first time ever, Rd 1 did have me thinking I can't be bothered with Classic at all this year.

It's the rolling lockout that kills the enjoyment for me. Just have to be way too engaged to even compete in leagues with mates

Not so much the Taylor pick than missing the Ashcroft news that screwed me

And taking Lindsay out for a cheaper Hastie Sat morning

He is a jet, have him in my keeper league. Not someone I've personally looked at from a classic perspective, but is the type of guy who could be a secret little season defining selection that some with bigger hearts than I nail.
