Trades 2025 Fantasy Round 2 Trades

Annual reminder to only make your trades before Thursday lockout if you had to.

Had a hard time reversing my trades the other day because it involved somebody in the Utility position. Rollback team I think is not available post lockout if any player locked out is in a different spot

Thinking Callaghan > Knevitt/Lindsay & Perryman > SDK. This frees up about 550-650k in the bank.

Smart. Didn't think of Callaghan out.

Gets me get Lindsay and Knevitt this week and enough cash to do something with Day and Perryman next week.

I've already done Garcia to Levi. So I need to make one more trade but I'm stumped. Have to miss Lindsay or SDK. Here's my crappy team:




Option 1: Taylor to SDK as second trade leaves me with this trade plan for next week:




Option 2: Callaghan to Lindsay leaves me with this trade plan for next week:

I'm leaning option 2 for upside in b18 weeks and deal with Taylor later plus SDK has a tough run. But I feel most will say option 1?

So tempted to bring in Caldwell even though it's only 2 games before the bye.
Not chasing points as such, it's just that when he goes on a tear like this, he usually does it for a few weeks.
He was absolutely stuffing the stat sheet.

Missed Knevitt and Lashcroft, so need to bring in one of them at least.

Also in this scenario I'd have to hope Callaghan keeps pumping out 95+ scores because I won't be able to trade him for awhile with so many other problems

I mean wouldn't you have all those problems regardless if you kept Henderson or traded Callaghan vice versa ect.

I'd keep Callaghan imo, Don't see him dropping off.

I almost forgot Perryman was playing tonight. He feels so irrelevant.

I like those trades though. Stone I had in my trade plans as I don't see him making much money with his low TOG and role. Just have too many problems

Wanted to go Hastie to Lindsay / Lashcroft and Perryman to Freija/SDK, but now thinking I'll have to go Perryman to SDK and Flynn to Jackson / Sweet / Cameron.

I dont even overly want SDK - but christ Perryman just feels like he has no ceiling whatsoever, especially with JDG back as well. Its just the easiest way to make the coin needed for Levi and with like 60% ownership now, not even risky in the slightest if he fails in the next couple of weeks.

SDK should make close to what the rooks do for this week all going well, and sets me up way better next week with much more itb to play with.

I think the choice of one of the rookies is clearly Ashcroft. Most of the comp have him and betting against a pig junior who runs around looking for chip marks will make me feel sick on a weekly basis.

However, I can see whichever way I pick on SDK vs Lindsay not working out.

Only takes one bad score to halt cash gen and a slight role change for SDK to be a dud pick. I think I'm going opposite of you there and banking both rookies

I probably agree, I'm just keen to get rid of Taylor this week because I can see plenty of potential issues I'll need to deal with next week

Mainly because I stuffed my team around last minute and now I can only trade in a defender. So SDK it is.

Part of me wants to go Lindsay over Ashcroft just for the hell of it, but Ashcroft vs my traffic cones is pretty hard to resist

Sliding doors in this game - Sanders' getting Bevo'd last week for a 72 on Saturday night meant I switched Hastie to Max Hall as my utility ahead of Sunday, knowing I'd be ditching Sanders pre-Round 2 and wanted the DPP flexibility to bring in a MID for Sanders if needed. Had no intention of ever picking Hall and don't even know what he looks like lol.

He's now on field for me to cover Baz this week whilst Hastie isn't even playing. Crazy those little throwaway moments end up having wider implications for your whole season.

Going aggressive, trading Smith out for Rankine, and when Smith comes back in I’ll move probably Garcia up to him (got 300k in the bank). It does mean missing out on Hastie to Lindsay, which I’m not too happy about.

Every chance its a 3 weeker. I guess Davidsons 60 can cover this week in Best 18 (every chance it will be one of the 18 as well).
