Both, I think the DPP is useful.
Until he proves he can score I'd stay away, even if he is selected. Give him time to at least show us a 50 or so. He hasn't shown any indication of scoring anything at this point.
Agreed, but I need to get rid of Leake and don’t see many better alternatives.

Yeah dont mind it. Bit unsure on bringing in defender premos, hence why Sheezel started. Can’t get to Zork but NWM and Holmes types are scary for top dollar.
Really would love some DPP for Rankine with the same strategy
If you can't move around using a utility or go up with him I think you just need to hold Leake as Bo Allan is not a replacement.
For what it's worth I bit the bullet and started NWM. He has served me well so far at least.

Yeah no issue as a starting pick but buying in in round 2 could end badly. Probably should have planned a bit better with Taylor in utility
That's also what I did last week. Selected Leake over other more promising rookies (Reid etc) because I knew I wanted the flexibility to trade Taylor to anyone.

Yeah partly why I’m in the hole I’m in because I really didn’t want Leake at all after seeing those ToG numbers
Did also go into the week thinking both Ash and Taylor were expendable this week and I’d trade whoever made my ideal trades work and sort the other one out next week.
Keeping Taylor over Ash is is obviously a risk in itself given there’s a chance they might have to stay for longer than next week

I'd probs go option 1, a lot safer. Option 2 probably thins your midfield

You’re probably right. My issue is if Prior gets dropped (which it looks like according to bummers fans) he’ll become a shit on a rock with nobody to traded him to
No cheap defenders and already have SDK and Freijah.. only option is going right up and Holmes will be best I can get to
Sheez Whit maybe NWM Martin may out score him but he should be right around the top 6 mark therefore worth getting. Wouldn’t spend that much on a non keeper who I couldn’t back to end up top 6 in his position
I've gone with the premptive Prior trade in as well and used him to get Lindsay, and then put in O'Sullivan as the new second bench DEF and chuck Trainor at D6

No DPP for the moment is killing me. I like being able to use trades to switch between structures
Am locked into getting a defender for him unfortunately
I had Leake in the UTL which helped open up the switcheroos
Is Cerra a trade out? If he plays half back, he didn't score well there last year. I'd be looking at Powell if I trade Cerra out. The other option is to trade out Perryman for Freijah.
I'd give it a week, his BE is low anyway
No Newman this year, Cerra could be the man back there this year
