Think given the value in the mids I'll go set and regret and pay up on this line.

Probably Marshall for C option and then either Xerri or English at R2.
I've pretty much had Marshall and Xerri locked for a while now

Danielle Laidley: Fat jokes aimed at Sean Darcy by Fremantle Dockers fans are deplorable and cross the line

I have to say recent online commentary about Sean Darcy’s bodyweight is downright deplorable.

In response to another post that mentioned Darcy was not expected to enter main training until after Christmas as he recovers from knee surgery, the same user wrote: “Sean Puffy Darcy should maybe sit out Christmas lunch too.”

Id like to go set and forget with the rucks, but as I always do I want some value.
Tossing up Xerri or RoMo, Xerri shares the bye with TDK who I think has the most value of the 80+ avg rucks, so gotta skip Xerri.
Id love to start Darcy but hes way too injury prone, huge value there though.
Im on RoMo + TDK atm

Blues have gotta give the sole ruck duties to TDK surely, they want his signature so theyve gotta keep him happy.

I’m not sure why it’s such a problem. Think DeKoning would be upgraded by then
I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Without Pittonet last year he averaged around 109 if my quick hungover maths serves me right. Thats season keeper levels.

My only worry would be his injury history and whether he can shoulder the ruck load for the entire year. Think there is probably a possibility we see him get rested or Pittonet comes in to help share the load in some games

The problem with that is they both have the bye in Round 13.
Overrated issue imo. If you have a playing R3 then it just means maximum of 21 players for that round.
With no playing R3 means a maximum of 20 for that round.

I mean its a factor, but not one worth putting too much concern in at this stage.

Either gets upgraded before his bye or scores at keeper levels for 15+ points above his average. Either way the bye feels irrelevant

Provided he keeps on keeping on, I think RoMo is the pick - he has no early Bye, and shares the two team Bye with Freo on Rnd 13. It's a small advantage.

Yeah, Row, X and Max all with no early bye.

Comes down to role because his draw looks the best.

Max kicks off with the three or four teams he scored the least against last season.

Think X's first 9 could see him with under 100avg - I know past results are no guarantee of future performance, but if you line up his first 9 on that basis, he could be worth a short term punt against.

107 ave vs first 9 at last performance. 122,99,83,94,118,124,120,98,102 is what I calc.
