North members still get 13 home games in Melbourne to go watch their team.

I do get your point as North is one of 10 teams in Melbourne. It does not change my point that it's much better to sell home games to Darwin than to play Freo and Eagles in Perth as home games (even though we would probably get more money).

BTW, in 2025 North will play 12 games in Melbourne (7 are officially home games, 2 home games in WA, 2 home games in Tasmania).

We don’t need Darwin games. 2 wins, one scheduled loss afterwards since our players are cooked. Less games on the GC which is growing. Not enough positives to outweigh the negatives imo

It is a pretty ruthless fixture but one thing that does stick out is the easy start.
I think we're capable of going 6-0 and building some confidence to turn some of those harder fixtures later in the season. Confidence goes a long way as we've seen in recent seasons

Two things
1-Darwin means we will once again fade away. Sack Evans.
2-One week at a time. All I care about is playing a disgusting self entitled privileged and oh so precious big 4 VFL club in the first game.

Richmond at the top makes sense.

But what the hell are Carlton doing second? Just shows they get those fixture games, like playing Richmond twice etc. and how it can make their run uneven.

North draw they did to themselves though, selling two games to Perth against Perth teams.

Pretty bleak.

Only positive is we might get a good run home, if we can collect wins early away, to give us a chance.

But yeah, could also be we have lost all chance at momentum by that point in the season with a string of away games.

Guess we can’t rely on home games next year to keep us afloat for most of the year.
