Nah he's in career best shape and is very close to training fully.

The trip to Qatar will determine his immediate playing future. If he's on the right track he'll play rd 1.

His first game was round 6, I don't think we rushed him at all last year.

We rushed him back for pre season and then he went out again

Then it became a massive thing where JL was asked about him every week, eventually he was back but clearly hampered, probably needed even longer or a mini pre season

I'd rather give him the extra time to makeup for missing the first half of this preseason

Fair enough, I can't remember us rushing him back for pre season. But agree, we need to make sure he's right for 2025. Far too important to be playing underdone.
