Forgot he was a person. I don't mind Spargo but I'd rather move on. Neat user of the footy but I'm not sure he's got the workrate to push up and he's not any dangerous around goals..

Agreed. Dunno who else plays the defensive high half forward though.

ANB was so underrated outside of the Dees.

Jack Viney maybe? He does have the discipline and love of a tackle, Sparrow probably gets the job. Could be a curve ball like Langford.

I do really think they wanted Tholstrup for that exact role, probably would have been perfect for his skillset at the moment.

Dogga Brown Jnr has apparently been training well. Has wheels and tenacity.

What's Sharp's projected role? He's one of the best runners in the league so I'm assuming wing or the ANB role perhaps.

Man Kozzy's suspension is gonna hurt. Still can't believe he got 3 weeks for Moore slipping over.

I think Spargo still not training fully and not sure he’ll be right to go round one. I was backing in Tholstrup for the ANB role but reckon Brown is a good shout. Langford may not have the speed and could see him playing a semi marking type role up forward and swinging into the middle.
Sparrow probably gets the role.

We've got no business playing Campbell at all this year unless Max is out IMO. Just throw Johnson in there as a forward/ruck in the Pedo role where we let him take all the hits and play JVR permanently up forward (Also I don't want Turner in the side but I guarantee we play three talls round 1).

I wonder if Bailey Laurie fits in anywhere, could he take that high half forward role? I don't really see many AFL-level qualities with him to be honest but that seems like his most likely role.

100% Laser Laurie will have a big 2025, you havnt seen it yet because Goodwin keeps ****ing around playing him VFL, Sub, in for one week. Once he gets a good run at it a few will be suprised.

Would love to see him get a run in the guts and be a real distributor hanging off the back off packs using his dart kicks to hit up targets opposed to having 4 blokes bombing it.

I haven’t seen it in Laurie and was a little surprised he was extended. Although he wouldn’t be on much. Although agree he hasn’t been given much opportunity. Played some good footy in VFL but not given a proper go at AFL level.

He has been a gem during the off season. Most improved 2025 is my money.

I really want Bill to succeed and reckon he might offer something half-decent if given a few games in a row.

But now with this plonker going on and on about him, just makes me think it'll be funny when he gets 6 games all year, averaging by 9 possies and 0.1

He is consistent, that’s why Oliver, Sparrow, Petty and Salem kept getting runs last season despite playing like shit all year.
