Wouldn’t a Smokey be someone who no one thought had a chance ??
I would not put him in that category
I suppose when I said 'smokey' it was more in reference to oppo fans and a lot of media underestimating his talent. I truely believe he has a huge chance to win the Brownlow that I'd be willing to put my own money on it and I'm not much of a betting man.Agreed - he's presently equal 7th favourite to win. Given how many votes he's polled so far in his career - if we finish top 4 this year his odds would be shortening rapidly if he is maintaining his form.
Miles off, respectfullyWhat do we take from this? To me, having to head to the other side of the world on the eve of the season for further rehab with an expert suggests he's NOT ahead of schedule, or even on track. But of course, I'm not an expert's left arse cheek in this area, so I could be miles off.
Respectfully, what are you basing that on?Miles off, respectfully
These is a trip to expedite the process, because they (especially Lewis) are ahead of schedule and are in a position to go through this process
Having been to the clinic and knowing what it used forRespectfully, what are you basing that on?
Ripper!Having been to the clinic and knowing what it used for
Same here. Anyone know if training is on tomorrow and if so what time?Does anyone know what time/day the team trains? Would like to go out and have a look this week just not sure when will be the best day/time?
They wouldn't be going to a reconditioning facility if they were behind schedule, they would still be be avoiding too much activity. What do we take from this? So how long from then till he’s back to full strength and mobility? They wouldn't be going to a reconditioning facility if they were behind schedule, they would still be be avoiding too much activity.
Come on man, you can’t honestly think people here have the answers to this question. So how long from then till he’s back to full strength and mobility?
People who’ve been to that very facility, and know exactly what it’s for, for obviously a similar ailment? No, not in a million years…Come on man, you can’t honestly think people here have the answers to this question.

Best response I could give would be that the prognosis is a positive one, you aint going to this late in the pre season , as these programs are intense, if your not tracking extremely wellPeople who’ve been to that very facility, and know exactly what it’s for, for obviously a similar ailment? No, not in a million years…
Now they've been reverted back, so we can match any bid, I believe. Both his brothers were, so it seems likely…. We just missed out on being able to match for the Pies Jiath due to the new nga rules.
His surname isn't Cripps or Daikos, so the umpires would certainly put him in that category.Wouldn’t a Smokey be someone who no one thought had a chance ??

The umps haven't been too shy to swing him a vote or 3 in the last 2 years! His surname isn't Cripps or Daikos, so the umpires would certainly put him in that category.
I though the plan was for after the bye to even be in a position to return so this feels quite on track stillWhat do we take from this? The umps definitely like the cut of Jais jib. He's in with a big chance at the Brownlow this year. The umps haven't been too shy to swing him a vote or 3 in the last 2 years!
Should be the week prior to our hit out against Geelong. So pencil in around the 10th of February.Does anyone know roughly when our intraclub match will be? Looking to go, surely it’s soon right
