People will cite Mike Vick got a second chance...but he was a superstar before his crime....Ruggs was a bust. Still it wouldn't surprise if he got a chance to try out ay least if he still has the athleticism

What Vick did is horrible an inexcusable but Ruggs actually killed someone.

If the Raiders don't get one of the top QBs and pick maybe a 2nd tier one, Darnold as a bridge QB could be a thing. Issue is if he ends up doing well in the Playoffs he is going to want starter money. Just need to structure a deal with some outs in it.

I think if vikings don't franchise tag darnold 3 most likely spots are Raiders, Titans and Giants.

Reckon it would be more likely a contender to sign him to a cheap contract coz they are up against the cap and have a coach that the media wont question as much cause "he knows what hes doing" for any potential backlash. Smells like a Chiefs thing.

If injured in a particular way the contract voids the guarantee.

In which case its not payable, and not on cap.

Even if the Browns can't prove that Watson was engaging in activities that triggered a void of his guarantees, recent pictures on social media show him without a walking boot. Given the difficulty of rolling an ankle while in a walking boot, it's possible that he wasn't wearing a boot when he was supposed to be wearing a boot.
