On the Coldstream situation. Coach moved on after one year, many rumoured indiscretions not dissimilar to his removal from Park Orchards many years ago. IYKYK. Brought a lot of mercenaries with him who will no doubt follow him out the door. Rumours he’s signed at Alvie with his mate Moreland, who signed for Coldstream before quietly moving without a game. Another bloke with a questionable past…

Heard from another club that tried to get him across, offered him four figures a game (starting with a 2…) and that wasn’t enough. Something to think about.Haha. Why would they feel the need to mention that?
Maybe he’s doing a 3hr shift at the pub every week for $5000.
He’s been at Montmorency and Sorrento, two of the biggest mercenary clubs in Vic, so clearly he responds to money and doesn’t come cheap.

Although the cap seems like a great idea, that's why its bullshit.
If financial clubs can legally pay new recruits 5k for mowing the secretary's lawn or changing a tap washer then whats the point of it? It would work if you could police it but the AFL barely controls third party deals so what chance has the EFNL got of getting on top it?
