This a huge blow for The Basin losing their b&f winner. This comes after losing young gun Christian Poe to Bayswater last year.

No player of any value is hanging around a club that has gone winless. It’s unfortunate but that’s reality. Having a season like they just had has rippling effects that last many years. It’s a killer.

Hearing gun defender James Waldon is joining former Fairpark coach Sean Stanton at Carrum/Patterson Lakes. Will be a huge loss for them, but many a forward in Div 3 will be happy hes gone.

I think at least a couple more will land with Stanton at Carrum now that Waldon has gone.

A second player, Nick Macente from Fairpark heading to Carrum with the coach as per their socials today. A few other Fairpark players liking their posts on social media would be worrying for the club.

Nothing yet incoming for Fairpark, only departures.

East Burwood B&F winner Jaymie Kempson heading to Balwyn. Huge loss for the coachless Rams. This is in addition to Matt Mariani who also finished 3rd in the B&F going to Templestowe.

I agree, Jaymie is another Rams B & F to depart to a higher division, this is in an earlier post. Mariani has been head-hunted by Templestowe since the season finished, he couldn't refuse. It's De Ja Vu at EB in many ways.

Now the Rams have announced Kyle Dove as the new Coach.

Would be massive news if correct. Harry Cheezels any comments?
Stepped aside. I believe it will be either Tony Weeks or Brendan McCormack taking over. Still a Very young list with about 80% being 21-25. (Yes Rausa is only 25 believe it or not). Not sure if true but also heard Billy McCormack was returning from the SANFL. He's coming off an ACL last season

Coaching gig involved maybe? Getting on in years now (would just have turned 36).
His partner is also still pretty ingrained in the Mooroolbark women’s footy landscape so think there is probably more to it than just a change of scenery.

Met James when I was in high school and his partner Rachael I've known for 20+ years.

Virtually 2 bricks in the Mustangs brick wall.

Wonder if his move to Chirny is a lucrative move.
