Imagine they’ll be sitting him down with the phone numbers of 7000 FTG juniors playing elsewhere in the EFNL.

The boys he played with are all the Mitcham players. Might be a bit late this year, but i think the signing of Stephenson would have sent a shiver down the spine of some senior Mitcham people. They know whats coming.

Absolute rubbish this stuff about Stephenson. Where do these gutter journalists get this shite!

My earlier post said he is unlikely to play anywhere in 2025 and if he does play it won’t be in the EFNL.

Maybe one day he will follow in his Dad’s footsteps and play at Ferntree Gully but it won’t be next year.

He just needs time away from football and the postings relating to gambling are very far fetched.

You have been way off the mark a few times

Another shocker

Possibly. Though they’re winning flags and you would assume having a great time at Mitcham, not automatic that they’d return.

Not a shocker mate. Got it wrong but my mail from someone very close to him was if he was going to play it was going to be at a club in the Southern league where there is a family connection. I was also told he wasn't going to play in 2025.

I got it wrong and that happens. At least I don't post 's.it' like many do on here.

Happy to own it unlike many people on here.

You tipping Mitcham in Premier 2025 Bunk? G will be excited.

He is very close to some of those boys - best mates. Makes things interesting beyond 2025. Great work by FTG to get it done for next season.

This is the 1st battle things could swing the other way in 2026 if 2025 doesn’t work well at FTG. But then again if it goes well……

Surely hes a goal kicking midfielder in Div 3? He might rest forward but cant see him playing permanent FF.

1 out in the 50 he's gonna be too quick for any div 3 defender. Similar to his first year at the pies, just burned everyone.
But yeah probably has to spend time on ball or it won't get down to him lol

I reckon the cards have fallen FTGs way ironically. After being decimated by departures, there is not a huge expectation for season 2025 as we speak. Stephensons inclusion takes away any talk of relegation though, because they will be easily able to attract more players.

Will the last one at Nuna turns the lights out?

Quite a few to box hill north in ammos I believe. Wouldn’t be 5k between the grounds and Elgar (BHN) have main road access (terrible parking) and good decks. Maybe a joining of forces would not be such a bad thing…

Looks like the EFNL just didn't think through the Ashwood thing.
But it looks like Mitcham have solved their second ground problem.

The Ashwood thing is an interesting watch. I reckon there might be a bit more to it behind the scenes between the leagues. It was just stopped dead in its tracks out of nowhere.

Casey Thunder women were also voted in at the EFNL meeting and it’s silence on that too - the SFNL have clearly not waved it through.

Against this, the WRFL, EDFL and AFL Vic have announced an agreement to work in conjunction with each other on the development of the leagues, including there will be no more transfers of clubs between leagues. It reads like something AFL Vic had pushed in terms of wanting them to work together… just wonder if there’s a similar push in the south-east. Stop trying to poach clubs and weaken neighbouring leagues and work together for the good of the game.

Fairpark gun forward Jay Rankin has been poached by Doncaster East. Massive loss for Fairpark.

One of the most promising players I've seen in Div 3 for years. Coldy played Fairpark late in the year away and he was everywhere. Kicked 5 or 6 goals and took i reckon a dozen contested marks roaming up and down the ground as a CHF.

I think I recall talk of him playing VFL? Might be wrong

They new(ish) rooms there too? Never been there but drive past a lot. They came good finally after years on the bottom or near it, just for the two bottom divisions to merge and they went average again, maybe they can rejuvenate
