They could technically sign 2 or 3 OL starters in FA I suppose though so never say never.

Trey smith from Kansas should be major target. Bears have pick 10, 39, 42, 71.
Could take Jeanty at 10 then package one of 2nd and 3rd get back into 1st round or trade both 2nds to get back into top 15 to grab an OT.

Pity there’s not a Joe Alt type in this draft , it confounds me that Poles was an offensive lineman himself and of all his **** ups this is his most glaring of all not sorting it out

Coleman Shelton at C is pretty decent player.
But your right need to go hard at OL in draft/Free agency.
Trey Smith and Drew Dalman (if replacing Shelton at C) should be top 2 targets in free agency.
Then maybe an aging vet to finish off the interior line Ziegler from lions might be go.

This is what I think will happen. Sounds like we have the cap space and are ready to pull the trigger. Would make more sense to get ready made OL help so that we can maximise our chance of success while Williams is on his cheap contract.
