Its not. WRFL div 1 aint no league to scoff at. And to be perfectly honest, I’d rather pay to watch that then AFLW. Better quality, easier to watch and more professional.
You better go to their forum then 👍🏼

I hope for our sake someone runs on to Arden St on Jan 9th

That's where the problem you're talking about lies. I don't disagree with your point about increasing funding levels for AFL sides off field. It should have happened two years ago. The AFL can afford to do that and fund AFLW.

im not wrong, there has been no empirical evidence.

Fact:

we are a coach short in the soft cap.

We have an apprentice work experience kid as a coach in the senior team from the AFLW.

And stop the name calling.

Stop the name calling says the bloke who copped a suspension just a couple of days ago for repeatedly using the same homophobic slur that got Clarko into trouble in the last pre-season.

To be fair I'm not 100% convinced that men have cornered the **** sucking market or that it should be used against them if they have.

A smart man would be praising those that performed that wonderful lifesaving act in the hope of inspiring others to save lives the same inspirational way.

Take this AFLW v AFL shit to another thread please.

I support both teams personally as we're all the same club and was a crying mess when we won the premiership last season.

But in this thread I want to see how the men are going over the off season. Just like in the aflw threads I want to see how the women are going. Both teams contribute to the success of the football club. Like it or not.

The men are going less well than they should be by the exact amount that their existence requires them to contribute to the existence of the AFLW team.

The contribution to the success of the football club as a whole by the AFLW team is far less than you make it out to be.

If the success of a football club is measured by the number of Premiership cup's in the trophy cabinet, our AFLW team have contributed 20% of ours, not a bad contribution imo

I think if the men's team weren't such a basket case on field we wouldn't really be having this discussion.

They've largely sucked the life out of us the last 5 years and right now we've been getting our relief by watching the girls. Winning a flag certainly helps in that department as well.

I'd say keep doing what we are doing with the women's team because it has become a powerhouse but the men need to harden the **** up and get serious. Don't care if they are propping up the AFLW or whatever. They've put the stain of the worst VFL/AFL record on this footy club which is unforgivable. Good on the girls for achieving success.

Anyway how are the men going?

Would you take it if it had cost us 2 or 3 years of the men's team playing finals? What about 2 or 3 years of development for the men's team? Would you give the AFLW flag back if it meant that the men's team were pushing for top 4 this year?

No on all 3 counts.
I enjoyed the aflw premiership for what it was. A North Melbourne football club premiership that we added to our trophies.

Same I enjoyed the AFLW premiership but I am honest enough to say that I don't want another cent of my money spent on AFLW at the expense of the men's spending. That doesn't make me a bad person.

Come on mate, I'm not saying it does.
I'm saying i enjoyed the AFLW premiership and that i support both teams and that the AFL and AFLW discussion needs to be taken elsewhere.
