I may have tried it a few times - admittedly, it was not always as well received in the country. I copped a few stares in Bendigo after a hasty bleach and dye job when I drove back to Melbourne to see Siouxsie and the Banshees one night. My GF at the time did the job in under an hour and some of those dyes were not 100% compatible. Luckily, Robert Smith was in the band and his hair was even more whack than mine.

But the next day, I was back at work in Bendigo.
