G'day. Just coming from the Tigers board. Just wanted to say that I have been reviewing all the AFL preseason boards and this seems to be the most interactive. 180 pages and counting compared to other boards is crazy. Some only have 12 pages. Two teams don't even have a forum for preseason.

Shout out to all the people giving play by play commentary of the match sims. Not many boards are doing this. I'm glad to see Tom Powell, WAP and Goad doing well in preason. There were sporadic periods in games when Powell was elite last year (before being moved out the mid). If he can do it consistently inside you have a real player there. Goes without saying that Sheezel, Parker, Xerri, LDU already class acts.

Anyway, even though there will be argy-bargy from other tigers supporters death riding north for that draft pick. Just wanted to say I hope north does well this year. I wound't be surprised to see you push into the 9-13 bracket on the ladder. So far I can see Melbourne, WB, Essendon, Collingwood sliding further down creating further opportunity. WB is questionable call considering how they finished, but I'm not impressed by their preason training standards so far.

Anyway I'm rattling on now. have a good preason Kangas.

I really don't mind if Tigers fans have a death ride thread and cheer against/shit on us all year on their board. As long as they're not trolling over here, it's all just good fun.

We're not Poort fans, going to other boards looking to get our feelings hurt and defend our team's honour.

From what I saw in the 2s last year, Maley is a neat field kick; set shots not so much
Reckon a bit of this is players feeling they have to kick the ball as far as they can when taking a set shot. Eddie Ford is a good kick but falls for this trap. Larkey kicks within himself only kicking it just far enough and doesn't overkick. Consequently miles more accurate. all the great goalkickers only kick it it just enough. P Hudson the exception but he was a freak with the flat punt which wobbled everywhere but went dead straight.

Just found this in the cupboard not even that olde , hasn’t aged that well.View attachment 2210515
