G'day. Just coming from the Tigers board. Just wanted to say that I have been reviewing all the AFL preseason boards and this seems to be the most interactive. 180 pages and counting compared to other boards is crazy. Some only have 12 pages. Two teams don't even have a forum for preseason.

Shout out to all the people giving play by play commentary of the match sims. Not many boards are doing this. I'm glad to see Tom Powell, WAP and Goad doing well in preason. There were sporadic periods in games when Powell was elite last year (before being moved out the mid). If he can do it consistently inside you have a real player there. Goes without saying that Sheezel, Parker, Xerri, LDU already class acts.

Anyway, even though there will be argy-bargy from other tigers supporters death riding north for that draft pick. Just wanted to say I hope north does well this year. I wound't be surprised to see you push into the 9-13 bracket on the ladder. So far I can see Melbourne, WB, Essendon, Collingwood sliding further down creating further opportunity. WB is questionable call considering how they finished, but I'm not impressed by their preason training standards so far.

Anyway I'm rattling on now. have a good preason Kangas.
I think the main reason why supporters of other clubs aren't so active on their club boards, is because they have their own dedicated club forums outside BF. e.g Talking Carlton, etc. North doesn't have that. We used to, it was The Searching Kangaroo, but it died.

Is that wat it was called? The one Tashibatts was on?

You must be famous round these parts DuckYeah. By coicidence I was reading the big lebowski commentary of the match the other day. I pissed myself laughing when I read this. And I quote;

We’ve had a drive by.

A commuter yelling “the kangas are shit” as they drove past

Think it was duckyeah
I figured you have a love hate relationship with your team just like my old man. You love them to death, and they shit you to tears all at the same time. All I know is this. Even if we get a decent pick from north there is no way in hell we win another premiership before North. I think you finally have the team to make it happen. Few more pieces in the backline and 2 more years and I would be surprised if you are not putting the fear of god in the comp.

The funny thing is he doesn't even care about using the pick in the "overrated" draft every year.
He wanted to trade for a mature key forward that isn't really on the market because most will end up re-signing with their existing clubs and none of them are worth pick 2 anyway. Basically he'll stop ranting once we start winning games.

Contracts mean nothing these days as long as you have the equity to pay up.
